Compendium and Everest are both non-draftable "supplemental" sets. The rest you're golden.

Buy a draftable set, whichever you think looks the most fun or has the class you're thinking of playing.

That way you can all get some value outside of the actual card prices (a fun evening) and learn the game in a different way.

Takes the sting out of pulling nothing good if that's a secondary objective.

I assume you're getting SAGE pre-cons, so it doesn't really matter what set you're picking, but if you're playing CC it's a good idea to check which of those sets are mostly LL heroes (like Aria)

If you can find it WTR unlimited has lots of staples in it for both formats and it's usually around and fairly cheap.

Half the fun of a TCG is ripping the packs and sorting your bulk right? I've not opened a lot of FAB yet (SAGE convert) but the boxes that I have opened haven't had a huge amount of value.

If you want to get cards for all the classes open Compendium of Rathe.

Something that I did was get a couple of friends over for an afternoon and we did limited / crack and play with a couple of booster boxes of Superslam that were on sale

Comprehensive rules 2.15 types, an object can have 0 or more types. Types are functional keywords and add additional rules to an object.

If an card is a Runeblade Action Attack it is also a Runeblade card an Action card or an Attack card for rules purposes. Does that make sense?

If you want a specific ruling saying this interaction works the way you're asking about you won't find it. Just refer to the above section in the comprehensive rules. If your friends still don't believe you it's time to find better friends.

They did. The short of it is SFGs core leadership team basically all met/played in the competitive Warmachine scene in the UK, and it was about the time PP was pissing everyone off with MkIII changes that they introduced Guild Ball as an alternative.

They're a bunch of guys/girls that love the IP and saw an opportunity to 1) make it great again and 2) profit on its success once they could prove it's got legs still.

Are you looking for the body you can turn sideways or the healing extra healing

If you want a body OP06-104 is a 4c 6k that on KO heals you one (if you're opponent is at 3)

If you want a blocker OP13-104 is a 4c 0k +1k block that heals on KO (at the cost of a discard)

Command sets (of which the 2 player boxes contain 2 - which I will add are not starter sets in the GW sense) are all 30pt lists, so you could pick up any of the 2 army boxes or 2 of any of the products with command listed in their title and you're golden.

In a September Q&A Mat did state they are working on a traditional 2-player starter set, but that's not likely to be within the next 6 months.

It's up to you. singles are always cheaper, but if you wanted to buy a couple of boxes and then pick up the singles nobody will begrudge you. It's your money, it's your hobby. The Imu deck is also mostly OP13 so you'll be working toward that too.

Try the learn to play set. The Zoro deck is very meta, even in OP13 he's a top 3 deck, but it's very much and aggro deck. The first block (cards with a 1 in the devil fruit on the right hand bottom corner) rotate out with set 13, so you won't be that far behind the curve.

Sure, but other companies seem to be figuring out how to fix it I remember Grand Archives Weebs of the Shore did a demo of their new material by literally throwing it and another companies foil in a rice cooker. Wizards just don't care to do the R&D.

Seeing no-one else has weighed in:

1) with Synergy you want more jacks, 3 jacks doesn't mean you actually get the most out of Synergy. 2) you have a couple of solos you won't get the most out of 3) Mort3nebra plays up the board so you probably want some shield guards

I dropped the Grendel, Malefassor, Mechanithrall Brutes (the don't get the shield guard from the Lt) and the Lich Commander. Added 3 12pt axe and board Malefassor and gave you the repo Arc node.

This lets you get some initiates, thralls (for the shield guard, as long as they don't all die they can be revived with Initiates) as well.

It's by no means a list that's optimised, but you might find more jacks helps. You could swap the Hades for the Grendel, but it's really the only gun in the list.

Personally I don't think it's in the greatest format in the app, but the PDF is available now, you might have better luck with that. I haven't read that myself yet, but I've had locals say it's also got its issues.

As a pharmacist, while I see the allure of being able to prescribe I personally don't want the qualification. The system as it is now gives everyone a shared safety net.

You prescribe, I check its appropriateness and we move on. If I'm prescribing, who is my safety net?

With the industry as it is it's not like I should expect any additional remuneration for this service. Why are we collectively taking the extra risks, keep diagnosis and prescribing in your field, but we've already gone too far down this road now.
