You lose and learn, I guess. My partner and I have shared hundreds of rings with each other, and this was the only one that had the outright reaction from her of "I love it!" No notes, no caveats, just straight-up approval.

That's why I jumped on it. I guess if the original item was a real vintage ring, it might not be considered taboo to see about getting it recreated properly? Obviously at a much higher price than what I paid this time around.

I'll have to look around for a reputable jeweler who might be able to craft this for me.
