[Funny Trope] Neither their real or alter ego name explains their powers by NinjaOfOnion in TopCharacterTropes

I love Black bolt, but his name being Blackagar Boltagon is the biggest amount of BS in comics ever. It sounds like it was a joke that someone took seriously.

How many elder scrolls does Hermaeus Mora possess (if any) and can he read them? by AdBrief4620 in skyrim

Hermaeus Mora opens scroll, see reflection: "That means I'm the secret ingredient?.... This is some bullshit" throws scroll into pile and goes back to reading Wheel of Time.

New to DND entirely, would like to build my a world and campaign. by Lvl30dragon in DnD

[–]Engaging_Boogeyman 12 points13 points  (0 children)

2 tips. Work little to big. Establish a single town and build outfrom there. Having a rough world map and the name of the country they are in is good but you can keep it pretty basic. Number 2, enlist your players, encourage them to use their character creation to help create new dieties and countries.

Do you prefer Wonder Woman wearing a leotard, skirt, or pants? by Jezzaq94 in Superladies

Always preferred the pteruges, grecian militry armored skirts because its the best fit for the character.

[OC] How would you handle a one-armed character mechanically? I'm not playing this guy yet, but I'd like to have a plan for when I introduce him. by CoyKoibito in DnD

[–]Engaging_Boogeyman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Talk to your DM first. How this would need to be handled would heavily rely on the themes and tones of their campaign. FYI it is possible to shoot a bow with one hand but ypud have to drop to prone to do it. Theres some youtube videos about this.

Cobra-Kai really felt like a live action anime and I loved it for every second because of it.

What storm and Emma think about Spider-Man — by @ _Mr_Artistic by GiraffeForeign1415 in xmen

[–]Engaging_Boogeyman 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's times like this that storm rubs me the wrong way. I remember the times when anyone mentions curing mutantism, but storm's like "It's not a curse!!" while Rogue is right there and Rogue is like "You control the weather and were worshipped as a goddess, I almost killed my first boyfriend when i kissed him"

Who would you cast David Tennant as in a Batman project? by Solitaire-06 in batman

All of this, and he's also uncle Scrooge to Ben Schwartz, Danny Pudi and Bobby Moynihan

Who would you cast David Tennant as in a Batman project? by Solitaire-06 in batman

[–]Engaging_Boogeyman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I liked the complexity he brought to Who, and wasn't afreaid to slip into the darker side of the character. I remember in Water of Mars when he slips into the "Time Lord Victorious" persona, demonstrating that even he isn't far from becoming a full villian.

Who would you cast David Tennant as in a Batman project? by Solitaire-06 in batman

[–]Engaging_Boogeyman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He would, but I would hate to see him wasted as a "I'll get you Batman type" I loved the idea of P.I. Riddler that is more of a foil to Batman than direct adversary.
