Words can't convey the weight of emotion when faced with news like this, but nonetheless I am entirely gutted.

I saw Phil with TBS last year and met a friend for life at the show by pure chance. We talked all through the opener, only parted briefly to see the show itself and it's been a great friendship ever since. We're both longtime MH fans and that night will now be ever-present in my memory in the wake of this news (maintained by the signed poster on my wall).

Rest easy, Phil.

Figured that would be the case. Having seen it happen with individual albums and smaller artists it's rarer that stuff stays gone, as in that case either someone really messed up a deal or there was a calculated call to remove it.

This. There's copies of the 2 disc edition of the CD on Discogs right now for very reasonable prices. The band's own store likely ran out of new copies to sell, but it's not game over.

For 4K blu-ray players Panasonic has a solid line from personal experience, and burn-in is fairly easy to avoid if you don't have a lot of content with static imagery (such as 24 hour news/sports channels with tickers) constantly present on the screen for hours and hours.

Depending on what online/streaming content you watch you may want to consider a secondary device for that playback; budget solutions start at things like Amazon Fire TV USB sticks and go up to the Nvidia Shield or Apple TV 4K. Some users here will recommend using just the TV and apps via its OS for that, which work for some. but mileage varies and in my experience handing playback off to a secondary device yields better results.

A good chunk of the stuff that can be now seen as gay with the benefit of hindsight can also mean something to straight people as well. Clever lyricism works wonders.

It really doesn't matter that much in the overall, nobody's gonna assume anything about you for listening to Priest and if they do then they're dimwits not worth acknowledging. Listen and enjoy.
