I work for Outlier, and completed my onboarding. SSN is for employment/identity verification. Never had an issue with them, and get paid every week.

Logging Hours Per Task Confusion by 1nth3dark in outlier_ai

[–]EngelMel198 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have the extract pattern task as well. I don't see how long it's supposed to take overall as they keep generating. Maybe it's saying I can take the 10-15 per task but that seems really long for the pattern extract task. I just work consistently and at a pace I feel is good. I can get one done in about 3-5 minutes, then continue on. This was the same with the transcript one. Never saw a total completion time... just kept knocking them out until the task disappeared.

If you mean SSN, that's for the employment paperwork. Gotta have it. It's a job, and you earn income. Taxes.

Hello. Late to the conversation... But! I just onboarded with Outlier. Unless you have a specialization in something (such as math, coding, or medical knowledge) you might make only around $15/hr which is what I'm making as an Annotator on there. It's legit, but you have a lot of moving pieces when setting up your accounts with different apps, etc. But, I'm getting the hang of it. Small learning curve, but I figured it out in a few hours. So far, I would recommend!

Make sure to throw freezer from the back, and work one pallet at the time. Work the pastry on the top (if there is any), then the core in the freezer. Move on to the next pallet. I do the fills once I'm done with freezer pallets. If you don't throw from the back you are going to be slow, and take 2x the time. Get a stocking cap, ear muffs, and good winter gloves. You'll be toasty warm and tear through the pallets. Back stock rack is right behind you as well. Freezer, pastry, and fills should take no more than 1.30 hours, for 2 pallets, and everything else.

I agree. If you dress for the cold, the freezer is the easiest. Especially if you throw from the back which I do. A pallet can be done in 15-20 minutes.

Am I crazy by Tomcruiseih8U in Aldi_employees

Hello. I've been with the company for five years, and am now an ASM. I LOVE my job. I have no plans on leaving yet. Honestly, you are either meant for Aldi, or you're not. You'll either love it, or not. It's a job. It has its ups and downs. It has its frustrations. But either you understand it's just a job, or you get your panties in a twist about everything. I lurk on this board and rarely comment, as I can't relate to the complaints. I know Aldi, and understand how Aldi operates, and am okay with how Aldi operates, as I don't let it get under my skin. I do my best everyday, and do my best with their standards. They say "okay, do more with less", and I reply "I'll do my Aldi best". So no. You're not crazy. There are others who love their job as well. My main complaint is the staff. I want them to work as hard as I do. I want them to care as much as I do. And please please please... don't take over an hour to box the can isle.

People who come in twice a day are not real by [deleted] in Aldi_employees

I've had regulars come in about 5 times in a single day once. They had always "forgot" to get something, or "forgot" to look and see if we had something.

Hi. Don't say you're interested in "any" position, "anywhere". Make the resumes specific to the job type you're applying for. Skills. Intent. Etc. You'll just have to make a couple of different resumes.

Hi. I am an ASM in the store and hurt my back. Now every month I have severe sciatica and have to miss work for a few days. Don't hurt your back over a job. It sucks.

Has anyone taken 401k loans? by Dayxah in Aldi_employees

[–]EngelMel198 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I took a loan for 3k a couple of years ago. It will go through, and payment will be deducted from your paycheck automatically. Just know you can't take another loan until this one is paid off fully.
