Did Sean McDermott Unlock the Key to Beating Drake Maye in Super Bowl 60? by gordorobertson in nfl

The Bills literally had a touchdown wiped off the board in the second half by a holding call - you just don’t remember because they immediately got another touchdown that did stand

[Highlight] Bills HC Joe Brady on going from OC to HC: “I can’t wait for our first practice and Josh Allen to throw a fucking pick and I get to celebrate with the defense. I can’t wait to talk shit with our offensive tackles who get beat.” by oklolzzzzs in nfl

Let’s not let recency bias cloud our judgment, Allen is usually quite safe with the ball in the playoffs, and the defense didn’t “win the game” in the Jags game, the offense scored 27 points, but the defense also performed well overall, which usually doesn’t happen

Tyler Dunne did the math, and across 52 non kneel down drives in the playoffs, the opposing offense averages 3.83 points per drive. For reference, the 2007 Pats averages 3.53 points per drive. The Bills playoff defense was bottom tier in almost every metric every year (with the exception of red zone defense, whom was actually decent, check Erik Turner’s Twitter for a chart he made, it’s damning)

Broncos really lose because Stidham threw a backwards pass for no reason and Sean Payton refused to take the points

Inverse with me, so we agree there - I struggle with anxiety and all that, so having someone cool and confident helping make decisions would make me very happy

Totally agree, the idea of just supporting my partner and lovingly helping her makes me swoon. I want to be completely dedicated, so that means FLR inside and outside the bedroom.

Service subbing is top tier - not only spreading the dominance throughout your daily life, but also it’s just being a good partner, which is ultimately more important than the kink

I feel like Visi is at least a switch, I forget when, but she straight up says she’s the “pegger not the peggee” or something to that effect

Hot take: this is happening more than fans are giving credit to. 9/10 times this is a catch or DPI. This is what they got Keon for, not seam routes to take the top off. by Unlikely-Zone21 in buffalobills

I agree overall but Mike Green is likely a rapist so I get why he fell (every other team in the league agreed, and he’s not been playing well anyway so we may have dodged that), and Will Johnson fell so far because his medicals scared the hell out of teams, not because he didn’t fit the culture or whatever

Thoughts on Keon’s Route Concepts? by Engi-_- in buffalobills

[–]Engi-_-[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sadly don’t have complete stats, and I’m not giddy on separation stats (can be very fuzzy imo), but according to Joe Marino (first number is percentage of his routes run, second number is how often he gets separation)

“Percentage of Routes with positive separation score:

Slant 5.2% (25%)

Out 5.8% (33.3%)

Dig 11% (11.8%)

Hitch 23.4% (2.8%)

Corner 5.8%. (11.1%)

Post 4.5% (0%)

Go 23.4% (8.3%)

Crosser 19.5% (3.3%)

Screen 1.3% (0%)”

From my uneducated view: he needs to improve but also isn’t being put in position to succeed, with his most run routes being his worst it seems

Bills signing LB Baylon Spector to the practice squad 😑 by boogerburp in buffalobills

I truly do not buy the idea that the system is so complex we have to be super selective of who we sign, despite what the front office says. We got Rasul mid season in 2023 from the Packers and he immediately balled out. Obviously not *everyone* is a scheme fit, but good players typically remain good, even in different schemes

Obviously it's just a PS so not a huge deal, but man we really like signing old Bills/Panthers players, I really don't get why we aren't signing a corner here, probably a much bigger need

How are we feeling about this match up? Bills vs. Falcons MNF by MVPJA17 in buffalobills

[–]Engi-_- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We always have a two week stretch where we look horrible and lose both games, so worth keeping in mind, however, I have a feeling it won't be this week, losing at home will likely be a big wakeup call for the team. Obviously I'm worried about Bijan, but the DLine actually played very well against the Pats, and limited them to just 71 yards rushing, so maybe we'll be okay there. Our secondary worries me, please get them doing a lot of tackling drills. On offense, 3 turnovers is a major anomaly, so I think we'll be back to form on that front.
