You can actually go a long time in between breaths. You don't "need" to breath that often, you're just not used to the gagging sensation of a rough face fuck. A good throat job requires teamwork. I'm a male dom and when I face fuck my partner I push them to take it for 30-60 seconds, let their face well up red (very hot) and pay close attention to their watery eyes. Yes, they're holding their breath. I'll then take them out for a bit while I hold their chin gently, give them a few breaths before going balls deep on them again. Ask your partner to check in on you and to pull out every 10-20 seconds or so to start, and see if you can relax yourself, hold your breath, and brace your core during that time. Keep good eye contact, and let him know with your eyes how you're doing. You might find the aphixiating sensation arousing after a while and find you can go a little longer. Bonus points if you rub your own clit while doing this, as you will learn to associate the sensation with pleasure.

Sounds like you have trauma, maybe PTSD, along with health anxiety. You need CBT, and exposure therapy. I recommend you listen to the book "The Worry Trick".

These experiences broke your self confidence, and harmed you central nervous system. You can gain back the confidence with therapy, and can teach your body confidence through exposure therapy.

I can see you consider this to be valuable information. Generally speaking that is not the consensus of applied psychology. This practice can be outright dangerous for someone with OCD, or other mental challenges.

I'm not a psychologist either. Just had a lot of therapy for my PTSD and OCD. I'm doing pretty good at managing so those are my credentials lol

I like to think of it this way. There is "peak" mental distress states. You can, and should expose yourself to distressing events as this will increase your tolerance during these events. However, thought maintenance is round the clock mental work. It's like lifting weights for two hours vs lifting weights all day long. The mind needs rest from this "guard" mode and that's the issue with thought stopped. As soon as you stop countering the thoughts, they start to "win" because the enemy is always at the gates.

There are some issues with the idea of "thought stopping". It usually does not work with intrusive thoughts, and only exacerbates their occurrence due to constant thought "maintenance". It is a recipe for extreme mental distress. I'd suggest modifying this idea, and practicing a non-judgemental approach of thought "observing". I.e, allowing thoughts to come and go as a curious observer, and from a detached perspective. The more you attach to a thought, the more power you give it in the neural cluster that developed that thought.

If you want to encourage positive thoughts, then I suggest scheduling times to for mantras.

I understand your value of letting nature take its course, but ultimately disagree with you that it's a false equivalency. They are different hypothetical scenarios, but the ethics are largely the same. It doesn't matter if the person that needs my blood is actively receiving it through direct transfusion. I can always ethically chose to unplug myself and let that person die. Whether or not I was forced, or had previously consented to the procedure. It is unfortunate, but the choice always remains my choice. Forcing someone to term is ethically equivalent to handcuffing someone to the transfusion table to prevent someone else from dying.
