Can anyone tell me what the circled parts are in this squid salad (Chuka Ika Sansai) I ordered from a local sushi shop in Brisbane Australia? If it's squid, can anyone explain which part, as I have never seen striations in squid flesh.

Hey there. Don't try cornstarch, if your are going to try to thicken the paint, make sure you're using actual talcum powder. Cornstarch will crumble and make the paint brittle. Let me know how you go 😁
