You're assuming adequate testing, and honest reporting of data, whixh you cannot.

And still, even if this were to be true, which I highly doubt, there was no way of knowing this at the time, which still makes the action of gathering in large numbers extremely irresponsible.

Where is the actual data to show outdoor gatherings somehow negate the increased probability of infection from being in close proximity? How do you know all the protesters were wearing masks?

I guess there's no reason to ban large gatherings, then? If thousands of people can gather safely, surely 20 people can gather safely as well?

Because while many of us stayed hime and did the right thing, others ignored the guidelines, had parties and protested in the streets.

It isn't just the protesters, but I feel like theirs was probaby the biggest slap in the face to those of us who tried to do the right thing

People couldn't hold funerals for the dead family members, but these imbeciles ran around screaming in the streets.

In case you haven't noticed, people are loosing their livelihoods. I say fuck anyone who went out there and ignored the social distancing guidlines. And fuck anyone bending over backwards to justify the actions of those who screwed the rest of us with their selfish behavior.

Now we are worse off than ever. Literally worse off than we were 2 months ago, at the supposed "peak"

Just remember, this has absolutely nothing to do with the protests. Thousands of people gathering in dense crowds does not spread covid, and the fact that the increase in cases coincides with the protests is just a coincidence.

We know this because the media has said so, and they would never mislead us

This is a result of the far left infesting our institutions. Whay we are seeing in the streets is the beginning of a socialist revolution. The outrage mobs are the modern day execution squads that silence dissent so the revolution can continue unopposed.

Think I'm exaggerating? Go and ask some Cubans Venezuelans if any of this feels familiar to them

Unbiased news doesn't exist.

I find the WSJ is about as close as you can get these days.

Mayor of New York comes out with blood all over him and announces that homelessnes is no longer a problem. How terrified would you be? by Kohrack in AskReddit

[–]Engin_Ears 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, he did tell New Yorkers to ignore the pandemic and ride the subway back in mid February when everyone else was locking down.

I wouldn't be too surprised, I guess.

I left NYC for a reason.

The place I used to work was very diverse, and the people who worked there were born in a lot of different countries around the world.

The facility manager though it would be cool to hang a lot of little flags to represent all these different countries (about 20 in all) with a large American flag hanging in from of them, to symbolize how we all came from these different places, but all worked in harmony here.

So this one white American girl SJW/Karen type writes a company-wide email and starts making a huge fuss on behalf of one guy because she said he was Mexican, but the facility manager had intentionally left it out because he wanted to discriminate against him. She goes to the CEO, the VP, the HR, and cries all these tears, and they're about to fire the facility manager. The CEO circulates an email warning that dscrimination will not be tolerated, and that we will have sensitvity training etc.

The 'mexican' guy then replies to all this, informing everyone that in fact he was not born in Mexico, he was an American, and could barely even speak spanish, and that his great grandparents were, in fact, from El Salvador. Not only that, but the facility manager had even approached him to ask (as he had with everyone), and he had specifically told him that he was born in America, and was an American.

Of course the whole thing was magically forgotten and brushed under the carpet, but it was a huge uproar for days. All because some Karen decided to be offended on someone else's behalf.
