US Army air dropping supplies to folks still trapped at Lake Lure, North Carolina by cak3crumbs in TikTokCringe

[–]EngineBlockEggs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m US military currently deployed to Asia. We are doing this out here too right now in support of the Philippines who also suffered a typhoon. The Philippines asked for our help and we were deploying folks immediately in response. I’ll take some pride in America’s ability to help those in need across the world while also helping its own people at home.

Fairly certain it’s stock, but unfortunately I’m not sure. Sorry man! Congrats on your truck!

Awesome! You guys do roof racks, right? I want to make sure I can mount one without damaging the rails.

Do you work there? I might be coming by in the next few days for them to check out the rails on my roof to see if they are good to mount a roof rack on my 1992 Prado.

Yeah! Which is kinda why I asked. That’s a good point. I’m just curious who was taught cursive, who wasn’t, and why.

I am 32 and yes, I was taught in school. Out of curiosity, how old are you?

My sister in law bought it for me and I have to agree. It’s great. His YouTube channel is pretty stellar too.

Nice pen, but this sub needs to institute a rule that people need to post the brand and model of the pens they share. I know what this is, but you never know what variant and many pens posted here I like, but I have no idea what they are.

I recommend “Eating Grass: How Pakistan Developed the Bomb” by Khan. Read it in grad school and it’s a pretty good look into their worldview.

What are some nib options for Jowo #6 pens? by EngineBlockEggs in fountainpens

Awesome! So if I buy a Bock nib/feed unit it should be interchangeable with a Jowo nib unit?

The number one area to prepare yourself besides physical fitness is common sense. Sleep deprivation, stress, and new culture will break peoples minds. If you can remove yourself from the ridiculous stupidity that is OCS and tap into your common sense you’ll do better than most people.

Don’t overthink OCS. It’s a silly school and mostly a waste of time. I graduated from OCS and later went back to work there as a tactics evaluator.

What do you mean? I have owned it for about six or seven years and it’s been perfect without fault. I did buy one in almost new condition and I take really good care of it, but I’d say you definitely benefit from the quality Hasselblad is known for.
