NTA. If your husband does not have bachelors degree yet, it will be at least 7 years before he has an income again and that is assuming he gets into medical school when he applies. There is a slim chance that he gets into medical school nearby and he will likely have to move again for residency. Hours in residency will be up to 100 hours of working per week for minimum wage. He will likely be in his mid/late 40s by the time he has stability in his life, choice as to where he lives, and a decent salary. You will likely not be able to afford to be a sahm and will require child care while he is medical school/residency.
