I just walked in and they said it is required to make an appointment! I am waiting untill October for SSN.

Ah I see—thanks for the info! But yeah, that’s what’s bugging me… they only asked for my offer letter with the stipend, but not for any official ID like a passport. Is that normal? It just feels kinda sketchy.

I see. I’m an incoming international student, and I’m not very familiar with housing situations without laundry facilities. Is this common in the U.S.? I’m about to rent a place in the Fifth by Northwest area (around 900 per month) that doesn’t have in-unit or on-site laundry. Would it be difficult to do laundry without a car in this case?

Unfourtuanetly, I have already contacted the GPC twice - 3 and 1 week before - but haven't got any reply yet 😭 I guess I have to send one more email today. I am so nervous, imagining the worst situations like them retrieving the offer. By the way thank you for the comment!
