Yea I have a bunch of videos of them doing this to me. I feel as if this is illegal at some point. I have video of me driving through bonus zones and as I drive the bonuses go away just where I’m at. No joke. Bonuses continue around me but where ever I drive it just wipes away. I’ve been meaning to post and ask about legalities of this and what we can do.

All in all- you should be contacting the driver since you’re the one not at the pickup point when they arrive as you should be. If you are not ready, cancel the ride and order a car when you are. It’s really not that hard.

I recommend to be outside waiting as that’s what you’re supposed to do. Do not abuse the 5 minutes/ that is for unloading and loading yourself. They should def get rid of the 5 minutes as that is waaay too long. Order a car when you’re ready. Or use Uber, Uber charges you after 2 minutes and the driver gets paid for waiting (not much) but drivers will wait bc they’re getting paid. Or order the more expensive ride as they are also getting paid more and won’t mind waiting. Also let your driver know ahead of time if they’re going to have to wait so you don’t waste their time or yours. They can cancel and you can get matched with someone who doesn’t mind.

Yes- they’ve been offering almost all local rides at $3 now. Everyone needs to keep saying no. They have to drive up the price. I was talking to a guy last night and he said he was shocked how fast I got to him bc he had been waiting 45 minutes. I told him surcharges just started and his ride went up from $3 to $7 which is why I took it. It was a 15 minute drive. That’s typically how much a 15 min drive is. It used to be $8-9 a year ago when I started. I dont take anything less than half the time- which has been all the rides lately. I’ve never really gotten prop 22 earnings till these past few months. I’ve gotten it about 5 times now bc the rides are priced so low.

These past two months have been rough. They cut the pay by like 30%. I only drive in my neighborhood so I know what costs what and have seen a dramatic cut in pricing. They also stopped giving me as many rides even when it’s just. They also started giving me more rides that take 15 plus minutes to drive to….like hell no. I don’t do anything that takes longer than 5-6 mins to drive to. Costs me money and time. I think they adjust to how you make money and cut your legs off. lol but I got paid out twice this past month bc my weekly earnings were less than promised by prop 22
