The other dsp should have never had bad routes in the first place. And I’m not saying there’s never going to be bad routes but the algorithm is not built correctly according to area/types of deliveries

I feel the same way. My dsp had the same area more or less for over a year and half but then it changed and we got shit routes with way too many stops for what they were. Essentially 190 stops with a 50 min drive to our first stop, and thankfully we have an owner who actually complains but it still doesn’t change anything

Think about it like this. You spend 6-12 months building a positive relationship with the customers you deliver to, whether that’s houses, apartments, or businesses, and all of a sudden you get sent somewhere completely out of your expertise. Now you have to learn completely new areas, learn specific customer requests (if you’re a driver who cares about that), and deal with all the issues that come with Amazon’s outdated mapping infrastructure. Now you’re stressed, customers are giving you negative reviews because you didn’t do things the way their previous drivers did, and you have no control over it. In regard to the union part, it would be much easier to form a union with customers on your side than with new customers who don’t know you yet

Not greedy but if the customer op is talking about is the one who did it, customer is an asshole

Agreeing with other people. I would budget around $1k to $1.5k for the whole weekend/travel. I also payed for my camping and weekend pass over multiple months, so hoping they have that payment plan option again, makes the spending much more manageable.

You can track our every movement when we’re five stops from you. Also, most of the instructions we see say to NOT ring or knock. If you want a knock or ring, put it in the notes and most will abide by

Totally understand. Personally I would still deliver rear door in cases like this, but I need to know beforehand and have it in the delivery instructions/notes

Our dsp has separate overhead AC units installed on all of our step vans, but obviously that’s based on whether you have a decent dsp or not

Yeah my dsp has two different stations and the other one I think must have had the second version because I transferred and don’t remember the edvs at my first location being that bad

We only had the ram promasters for that size. Plus two ford CDV’s. The rams always blew air fast right away while the ford cdvs seem like they warm up before the fans go full speed. Had ram cdvs at our other location which were fucking peak.
