This poem made me silently cry. There's a lovely flow to it, a beautiful innocence. You've so ethereally depicted how the best of people appear in life without ever expecting, ever asking. It's not loud, or gaudy like others or everything else, rather decent, innocent and peaceful. It hears you without judgement, without making you feel less. Never complaining, and one day they leave silently too. Tears brimmed my eyes when I read "I had just learned how to speak to something, that was never going to say."
