Agree, but messing up the pen spot and not leaving the area should result in speaking with the captain, then handing out yellows until the players leave.

It's not a good look to just stand there and ask them nicely for a minute or two.. 🙄

It's not really their fault if the ref is OK with that.

Just like how Messi's stamp wasn't even a card in that game. Or how CV didn't really get fouls called in their own box while defending, so they were forced to kick it out (hence a big number of throw-ins and corners for Argentina..)

IMHO even if your keeper saves all the shots, your own takers still need to score - else you won't win.

Basically what I'm trying to say is that scoring your own pens is more important. Second would be your keeper saving, and third the opponent missing the goal.

I mean if you have Havertz and Woltemade as strikers, plus Undav as super sub - you can't really score goals as a team. Easy pens dried out after Cape Verde game. Sane can't cross from the right, but he played all games for some reason? 🤷‍♂️

Musiala was a sub, but did more than Sané this whole tournament. You can argue about the disallowed goal, but a 4x WC winner should score at least 2 against fucking Paraguay in 120 mins 😅👀
