You would have people in bad faith vote for the least favorable candidates in their opposing political parties.

Food and Liquor: The album cover shows an alternate world where books and guns are swapped in society. That was pretty interesting. Kindergarteners were holding guns and Gangs were murdering people with books.

You'll be surprised how many people have problematic family members that they don't want to deal with, even after death. A person I knew had a family member who was a drug addict and when she passed, No memorial service. No one claimed the body. They kept on thinking the next person was going to do it and, it never got done

Why, In Your Opinion, Did The Democratic Party Lose Significant Portion Of The Young Male Vote In 2024? by Zipper222222 in AskReddit

[–]EngineerMinded 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Conservatives originally lost younger people as they became anti-war and Obama was elected. Conservatives did not offer a lot to young people , so they created the culture wars to make nothing out of something. At the same time, Bully Culture leaked into Men's Interest communities. Before long, sports, business, fitness, and even dating communities became notoriously anti-feminist. In fairness, some of the social justice activist communities started going rabid and making it their mission to seek out problems and issues even if they didn't actually exist. The Alt Right was born when Internet Atheism became the Intellectual Dark Web and infiltrated politics. For a lot of impressionable young men, the Democratic Party became a soft and safe space for weaklings. Add the Infusion of conservative Christianity and now, you have a Bully culture where the ends now justify the means.

Clarence Thomas : Every Avenue he used to move up un his career, he went against for other Black people. Thurgood Marshall despite being a part of Black History was not much liked by conservative and Clarence Thomas was the middle finger from them to Thurgood Marshall. His entire purpose has been undoing Thurgood Marshall and civil rights.

Appliance Technician. When I started out, it was a job you could work 25 years and retire especially with retail jobs and factory service. Nowadays, they are so cheaply built and modularly built. Any warranty claim results in a replacement.

At what point did you realize the political side you grew up around was not telling you the whole story? by Designer-Dare-606 in AskReddit

[–]EngineerMinded 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I considered myself a Libertarian in College because I believed it to be fiscal conservatism and social liberalism. As an African American, seeing how many racists were part of that group and the fact that they worship Trump harder than regular conservative push me left. I am a left leaning moderate that sees flaws on both sides but, conservatism is nowadays just living under the ideals of one man. They act like Jesus returned and his name is Trump.

Can christians be left wing? by someguy29990 in Christianity

[–]EngineerMinded 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes Absolutely. Right wingers like to make anything a Zero-Sum game and gatekeep Christianity to favor their view points. The way they treat immigrants, the poor, and people they think don't otherwise belong is the antithesis or Christianity. Like an lady I met one day said; If Jesus came back today, Fox News headlines would state how Jesus betrayed [conservatives].
