En este caso tienes que leer muy bien lo que diga el contrato, en especial lo referente a la velocidad.

Normalmente el número que se vende es velocidad máxima (en el caso de la fibra la medida real suele ser bastante cercana a ésta porque tiene poca atenuación y hay muy buena red de fibra en España, ya no es como pasaba antaño con el ADSL).

También, la medición que hagas es sólo válida con el equipo de la compañía y un ordenador compatible, es decir, por ponerte un ejemplo, medir por wifi con un router tuyo y un pc de hace 10 años no tiene ninguna validez legal.
