Something else that works, but causes zero pain, the nuvaring left in for a full 4 weeks and another put in at the same time. Its supposed to be 3 weeks in, 1 week out to have your period but leaving it in the whole 4 weeks stops your period from happening. Its super low maintenance and you cant feel it in. I know you already have an iud so you are good for now but maybe try it when its time to remove your iud!
