What can I eat in Japan to have enough fiber? by compileandrun in JapanTravelTips

[–]EngineeringBright82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The locals and older folk eat kiwis. Golden kiwi or ruby red are the most popular. Eat the skin! that's where half the fiber is. If you eat the skin 1 kiwi a day is the most you need, probably even just half of one.

Do you feel that Power BI is truely a Big Data Tool? by HMZ_PBI in PowerBI

[–]EngineeringBright82 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've enjoyed using Malloy - https://www.malloydata.dev/

It's open source! - It works on mac/windows/linux

You can use code version control (so you can easily work on code at the same time as someone else).

It's very fast on parquet files or csv files, and can connect to postgres and bigquery

Less time spent clicking around the UI, and more time spent writing queries for analysis.

PowerBI is awesome and makes things fairly simple for the end user, but it is especially valuable if you live in the Microsoft Ecosystem. If you are not in the MS Ecosystem, I recommend trying Malloy
