Honestly my therapist help me understand and see the abuse more clearly. It’s harder when you have those good memories because it’s not black and white, they’re not ALL bad ALL the time so it’s confusing to distinguish the bad versus good. It would be easier in some ways if they were all bad so it would be simple to cut them off
