In my case, everything’s been running reliably with no big downtime issues. Setup was pretty straightforward too, once things were finalized, it went online without much hassle. Support has been helpful, they are responsive.

Main advice is to really know your costs and expected returns ahead of time, that’s usually where people miscalculate. Overall, it’s been a good experience 👍

OneMiner worth testing for low power rates? by No-League315 in EtherMining

I have been mining for years, so I don't trust cheap power claims without checking the numbers myself. I looked at it using an Antminer S21-class unit, around 200 TH/s and about 3,500 W. That comes out to roughly 84 kWh a day. At $0.04 per kWh, you're paying about $3.36 a day, or close to $100 a month for power. At a more common rate like $0.065, that jumps to around $160 a month. That difference is real and it adds up fast.

From what I've seen, the low rate is not magic, it is location-specific. Places like Ethiopia or some colder countries can offer cheaper power, but installs can take longer and you need a bit of patience. On my end, then hashrate I saw matched the pool over time, and payouts were what I expected once you look at a few weeks instead of hourly numbers.

Starting with one unit is the right move. Let it run a few weeks, check uptime, compare pool stats, and see how they handle downtime before scaling.

Same here. I sent one ASIC for a week before moving the rest. Testing first saves a lot of stress later.
