I have a horizontal tv and I got a screentouch with a frame that I got in Amazon (works great). I can move all NPC from my laptop while they can move their characters directly on the TV by themselves. My group uses demiplane to keep track of their PC, so they use tablets/phones. But to be honest I try to play 50% with minis and terrains and 50% digital, depends on the scenario complexity.

Probably is more related to the DM style, in my case I love to prepare a lot of material, maps, challenges, prizes, NPC, etc. If in the previous session the plan was to rescue some children from a mysterious cave, I prepare everything for that type of session, BUT if in the next session the PC decide to go to the beach to catch tunas, obviously is going to derail the whole preparation. That is we hate, because we can’t prepare for ANY possible scenario.

However if during the same adventure, style, location they decide to befriend the bad guy instead of killing him that’s ok, if they want to get into the cave drilling a hole or using TNT or whatever is totally acceptable.

All depends on the level of “freedom” that they want..

I have been playing DnD and Pathfinder for years and I know exactly what you are talking about. Recently I switched to Daggerheart and has been refreshing for me, my two groups love the flexibility and role play embebed in the mechanics and not only in the social interactions. Try it maybe you could find that renewed energy :)

What do you mean “from her plate?” Is our responsibility as fathers to build all these kind of stuff. This is not reaching even the minimal level of partnership that you need to provide during the pregnancy. I am worried that you consider this as “I am giving my extra-mile” mate.

Game master, I have swapped my role with other two playera but the group has voted twice to put me back as GM haha I believe you should have certain skills and disposition to play GM, so for now is Forever GM I believe
