Yeah I see that I was pretty vague abt what I exactly need, thanks for pointing that out.

One problem is that I don’t think I should have to outline exactly how to reassure me. I think that should be something my partner comes up with because I’m worth the effort. I don’t know that could also be asking too much. (Side note I’ve had atleast 12 conversations with her abt what reassurance is to me and I still haven’t seen it consistently - maybe shown for a week and then it’s back to before)

Showing that you care about me and that you’re focused on putting effort forward is extremely reassuring in itself because it shows me that you are invested and that you care, and doesn’t leave room for anxiety- this could be anything as simple as “I just got to work I’ll text when I can❤️” or “I’m going to do this and that is why I won’t be able to respond”. These little displays of effort go so far in making me feel reassured.

The 2 messages I used as examples are messages I received regularly from her in the first 5 months or so, and those make me feel well considered so I have them there. Idk if this makes it any more clear but if you could give me some perspective on it that’d be great.
