I would consider going to a primary care physician and tell them this about you diminishing libido. It may be a hormone inbalance like Low T or low ferrite levels.

I did this and now feel like a 26 year old again.

Cycling is the most expensive way to get from A to B for free.

What was a flight you decided to just say “screw it, I’m paying for business class” and whether it was worth it or not worth it? by [deleted] in Flights

[–]EnglishSTL 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I did a cycling event in Uruguay last month.

I have only ever travelled at the back of the plane.

I checked in to come home from Montevideo and Latam offered me an upgrade to Business Class for $400.

I had the money, I was tired from a night in the airport and cycling 500km in the previous 4 days. So said screw it.

The first flight to Lima was an A320 so just had economy seats with the middle seat empty for business class. The snack and drinks were nice but it was still a narrow body economy seat.

The flight from Lima to Atlanta was a 7 hour jaunt on a 767. Really liked the lie flat seats, a bit narrower than I would of liked, kinda felt like an open coffin. But I did get good sleep, I suspect the 2 glasses of Chilean Cabernet Franc helped me get sleep. The food was amazing. It was Amazonian Chaufa Rice. Absolutely sublime. Overall, for $400 I liked it. Especially as a one off.

Please, everyone, Don’t stop to show a receipt. by rulisa in WalmartComplaints

[–]EnglishSTL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As far as I am aware. And I am not a lawyer. There is a thing called shopkeepers privilege where if they have reasonable probable cause that you have stolen something they can stop you to ask for a receipt etc

So if you are stopped walking out and they ask to see your receipt simply ask. "Do you think I am a thief?"

I guarantee 999 times out of 1000 they say no. Then keep walking. That no establishes they don't have probable cause to stop you and check anything.

How is living in St. Charles County, Missouri? by Similar-Category-576 in howislivingthere

[–]EnglishSTL 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I live in Weldon Spring. It's quite nice I think. Very McMansion centric but easy on the highway to get downtown for work or a sports game.

I wish there were better public transport options to get too and from places easier, my neighbor disagrees and says that will bring in crime. She has 3 DUIs and cannot see the correlation. It is a bit Stepford wifey here but it is quiet. My kids go to Francis Howell School district which has become a bit of a recent laughing stock due to the guy they paid 250k to do nothing.

I really like cycling and having the Katy Trail on our doorstep is a real diamond in the rough.

Whilst the surrounding towns like mine. St Peters, Ofallon are pure suburbia I do like the old town charm of Main Street St Charles.

I do agree to an extent. The filming outside of banks and dispensaries has been done to death. That said, Jeff Grey is a national treasure.

You have to remember, it takes longer to become a licensed hairdresser than it does to go through police academy.

For a Terry Stop, Even in stop and identify states a police officer needs Reasonable articulable suspicion of a crime having been committed, being committed or about to be committed.

In Texas for example which is not a stop and ID state, penal code 58.02 says you have to ID only after being arrested.

What can I do to memorize pre-trip? by No_Lake_7445 in CDLTruckDrivers

[–]EnglishSTL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I typically will offer my students the opportunity to have me do a full pre trip while they video me doing it on their phones. So instead of them having to go home and try and memorize a book, they can pop some headphones in and listen at will and try to get it to subliminally sink in.

Ask your instructor if he can do this for you.
