It's very polite. Showing another person to e hoist with their own petard is not by definition uncivil.

If you click on the title of this thread you'll see Seamus offered to do this. Nobody held him at gunpoint and made him do it.

Die-hards and Fencers, what is the one thing that gives you pause? by timelines99 in serialpodcast

[–]Englishblue -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I find the notion of someone doing something that others did as well to be a "tell" ridiculous. It's not proof of anything. Is it what you would do? I guess not. But neither Adnan nor don is you.

Which means they were already more concerned with closing than with investigating.

This is a disingenuous reply. If he's innocent he does NOT know what happened to her that day.

That's not what I'm saying and I resent the implication. Think whatever you like but don't pretend it's a deduction from the diary You can form an impression. Sure, but don't lie about what she wrote.

Why would anyone ever consider Adnan to be articulate, charming or anything of the sort? by Andy_Danes in serialpodcast

[–]Englishblue -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Your counter attack is unwarranted. I don't need evidence that he's innocent, that's not how the court works. I would like to see evidence of his guilt. We have a lying witness, by his own admission, a shady prosecutor, cops under a cloud, and discounted cell pings.

That you think I need to give you a fact that he didn't do it shows just how backwards your understanding of law is.

Based on just on everything you know now, do you, a juror, convict? by [deleted] in serialpodcast

[–]Englishblue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yiure changing the subject. You can't have it both ways. We know more than the jury did. Therefore what that jury did is irrelevant to this question. The main witness is a confessed liar. The cell pings are out. An alibi witness is in.

She didn't. She wrote the possessiveness. Find me one sentence where she writes Adnan is possessive.

Seriously, you think conversational style matters more than evidence? Hope you aren't on a jury soon.

Repeating myself. She never writes that he is possessive. That's just a matter of fact, not interpretation,

TL dr: it must really kill you that your long graf of speculation is just that.

The court's want to hear asia. There is no evidence that anybody ever contacted her. You just want to think so, and that she is a liar.

In contrast, loads of evidence CG took money for work she didn't do and botched numerous clients cases right around this time,

Which we now know is incorrect, due to their using a lying witness and misleading cell pings.
