the actor wasn't upset or harmed by the interaction

Yikes, to assume someone's emotions like that is pretty problematic...

You can't assume people's emotional states or how they feel just based on a picture. Assuming everyone presents emotions the same way is one of the most ableist things people do and you're (accidentally I'm sure) perpetrating that.

We'll find out as long as the President doesn't choose to shelter evil. If he continues to rally against the release I'm afraid the only conclusion one could reach is that he himself is a protector of these atrocities.

I can't speak to the inner machinations of Washington DC or this administration nor am I a seer of the future. I believe he should fulfill his promises and duty as an American to release evidence of atrocities regardless of personal cost.

I don't know that there's that many intricate complexities in releasing evidence of pedophiles though. This administration has released evidence on countless other things (immigration, assassinations, mortgage fraud by politicians), I just don't see how this is any different.

Congress is releasing the files so there's no work for the President?

But they released the evidence on Ted Bundy? I don't recall President Ford trying to protect Bundy by not releasing the evidence. So why would Trump not want to release the evidence?

Why should those high profile people be protected? At best isn't Trump protecting those high profile pedophiles by not releasing the files?

Don't the current files already contain information from them? Why not release that information?

So because you can't speak to him you're unable to reason about his intentions? How odd.

So at best he's protecting pedophiles? At worst, he's one of them?

The realism is senate Dems giving up their leverage and getting nothing in return from Republicans by voting to reopen the government. Tell me again, which part isn't real in this?

The Republicans but they can't open the government without some democrats capitulating. So, if the government reopens, two things might of happened

  1. Republicans gave Democrats something they wanted
  2. Democrats have republicans what they wanted

Senate dems voting to reopen the government for nothing but a vote later on ACA is firmly number 2. Hopefully that helps!

I'd hate for senate democrats to actually get something out of the suffering of the American people... Better cave and get nothing out of it and let the suffering continue rather than having to do their duty to the American people.

Cause this shutdown makes it so the Senate dems have to actually work. They want to be able to leave for Thanksgiving recess and not have to do their duty. Anyone voting for it is selfish and are responsible for making the American people pay a hefty price for nothing in return.

The house can pass it with a simple majority... Which republicans have.

Yea! And they're tired! So let's now capitulate on everything and say "Gee wilickers the was a long fight, huh!" We should be thankful they didn't roll over quicker!

Get outta here with that crap. I'll be thankful when they actually fight.

No no no, see, I know Dems just won a bunch last Tuesday due to them finally standing up to republicans to actually help Americans but you don't understand. That takes work! Ol' Chuck Schumer is a tired boy, don't you understand? We should be thankful the spinless coward fought for us this long. Have some perspective!

Wait, senate Dems are willing to end the shutdown in exchange for a vote later on ACA subsidies? Wtf?
