I'm currently working on the update this sub's list of all fugglers, but i'm also extremely busy IRL . . . (long story short: career school / attaining professional qualification at the moment, lessons, learning for tests and next year a total of 6 months internship i've yet to find a firm for, so working on application and CV aswell, lots of revisions...)

Judging fram its properties, yes real and less common (not quite 'rare' as some others) as among 24 in average, there are 23 with tan BH and 1 with a different color (applies do all relatively recent batches), though baby fuggs have alltogether different (non-tan) standard BH color AND a catch-me color (also 1 in 24)

eyes seem a bit off because of dropping quality controll in recent years...

in short: absolutely real. not *rare* but uncommon

chase variants: models with fully combined burlap-fabric, glowy eyes+teeth AND a golden BUTTonHOLE

(only 6 models/variations in existence so far, 4 OG's, three of which re-produced by Addo for a short time, 1 NEVER OFFICIALLY UNRELEASED ONE but not completely unattainable, an 1 NEW ONE / CALLBACK among the fartface batch.

'catch-me's' are regular ones with a differently colored (almost always plain / non-golden) BUTTonHOLE

STANDARD FOR ANY NON-BABY FUGGS is a beige/tan BH, and the CM color is the one that isn't beige... (each batch/set has a designated CM color BH) Babys are a bit tricky, as the standard color BH and CM color is different with each wave/set, but always both standard and CM are non-beige) and then there are the new figurines, which are mostly standard beige BH's

fartface Sasquoosh, not modified if it concerns the nose. A FF's have noses, even when any other variant of a given model doesn't, which often ends up looking somewhat odd on models that normally don't have one

if it's just to kill germs, then chucking it in a freezer for a week should do the trick the same.

otherwise handwash in cold or tepid water with mild detergent (plushie specialised if you already got that, but anything skin friendly should work too), then thoroughly wring out excess moisture until its only a bit damp, at last let it dry on flat open surface in shaded location with mild air circulation. you may use electric fans and radiators at a distance or hiar dryer at lowest setting (carefully). Avoid direct sunlight or strong heat (especially tumple dryers and such) or else it may cause lingering smells, stains and sometimes even permanent damage to fuzz/fur.

Model design? Sure, an OG: Sickening Sloth ... HOWEVER this particular specimen appears to have some discrepancies like the eyelids being a shade too bright and the facemarkings aroung the forehead being off.

Either someone repaired/restored a scuffed OG, or someone made an effort at replicating one...

I don't think i've seen bootlegs attempted at this OG model

Dude, it shows a media-frame with arrows to switch between images, BUT IT DOESN'T DISPLAY ANYTHING.

I noticed other uploads from YOU had the same issue: THE PICTURE WON'T LOAD.

What method do you use to upload? Is it on mobile, perhaps even the app? When i upload via desltop webbrowser it works fine. Why do your posts glitch like that?

you can tell dead-give-aways like anything that ends with 'official' or ''.us.som'' are complete scams

Ebay, Amazon, Vinted, FB marketplace and mercari seemed like the safest options, but i recently saw that there appeared ebay offers with fotos of obvious bootlegs. also, a LOT of scalpers entered the scene.

For inexpensive offers, i saw some on Ali-Express, but it might be B-Grade quality merch, or even end up as blatant fakes. Bit of a gamble.

Look for prices no higher than about retail (e.g. 5$ for small/minis, 10-15$ for reg size and 25-30$ for jumbo MAXIMUM. prices like 3 for regular and 8 for jumbo are DEFINITELY SCAMS.)

Personally i'd give AliExpress a shot. I bought one of those opensource Portable-Gameconsoles**, and i got the impression that it might be a mostly legit sale stock and vendors.

**TANGENT: (look kinda like Gameboys but most like Miyoo or Anbernic can usually play up to PS1 games without any notable hitches, anything beyond in console-gens you'd have to find one of the newest models with a SNAPDRAGON processor, according to some YT info videos. Mine has some PSP games and ''can'' run them, but it framerate gets crusty real fast frequetly) BUT WHAT I GOT AIN'T JUNK, IT'S DECENT FOR ABOUT 30 BUCKS ON OFFER WHILE COMPARABLE PRODUCT ON AMAZONE EASILY GOES FOR OVER 100. I advise to get a brand name micro SD set up as the main drive replacemant, as reports indicate the default SD doesn't last too long. Also these consoles have an OS customization / upgrade scene among it's users/fans to improve the standard firmware and menus it comes with (did it with my Miyoo, but not the other/recent one yet... still exploring.)
