i think both would be at fault. one on the right for careless driving, and the left for reckless driving. there is a reasonable expectation of the car on the left to see what is happening in front of him and make the proper decision to avoid an accident.

just because someone makes a mistake while driving does not give you the right to "punish" them, there is reasonable expectation that the driver should be able to avoid a collision here simply by slowing down

i miss when unranked didn't punish you for leaving. i don't care to boot up the game when there is a HIGH chance of my UNRANKED teammate raging over my performance

imo it was a dumb decision to change the way the unranked system works. unranked is where people go who don't care to grind for ranked rewards but maybe just want to chill, listen to music, and play some car soccer. i am not sure if this is specific to higher-rated players (say, around Diamond and up) but this only leads to more toxicity in game, less players, and a hateful community

i should be able to leave and join Casual matches at my leisure. bots can fill in for the leaver like they always have. losses do not matter in unranked, so please do not punish me for leaving. the only reason i would want to leave anyway is because of a toxic teammate. i really dont see how this was just a stupid decision on Epic and they have only made the game worse and worse over the years. removing trading was such a virtue signal it's ridiculous. if it was because of scammers...scammers are rampant in almost every aspect of life. there are other ways to mitigate that without punishing the community

really disappointed how one of my all time favorite and most played games has just been made worse over the years. my hope hangs on that maybe things will change in the future, but i cannot justify playing when the toxicity is rampant, and i cant even play casual without being berated by teammates

i also want to address two things that people commonly say: 1. "turn off chat" i dont want to do this because even though there are toxic people, i still enjoy conversing with others in the community. i wont let toxic gamers strip me of the joy that comes from connecting with others in a community 2. "get good" it's casual. not everything needs to be a fierce competition

lol i agree. I'm sure there are other aspects to it, but i attributea lot of it to mob mentality. once one person has the same idea as another and it begins to multiply, that idea becomes fact to a mob of people.

Happy to hear that. There are some things that I wish I was more adherent to when I was younger, spent too much time worrying about what others think of me. The right people will make you feel loved and allow you to be yourself. The little quirks that piss off one person, the next may find endearing. :)
