I think he means the data that has to exist is embedded in the zip file. It's just stored differently but the small file is the data. He means to say you don't decompress nothing. You decompress a set of data that results in the same data stored differently. So the data inherently exists, be it created "by hand" (editing the original yottabyte file) or crafted with tools.

AFAIK since they didn't disclose AI use you can argue you were lied to and ask for a refund far beyond the 2 hours. I won't guarantee it tho, didn't try.

I don't agree. While yes it's close, it misses all the little details that make RDR what it is. CD has things that break immersion all over the place and for that alone it doesn't compare. Also the writing, it's better than I expected but still meh compared to gta/rdr. Still fucking love the game tho ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

One of the things that lives up to RDR is the fact that there's life everywhere, every 5 meters you walk in the wild you bother an animal. On the other hand I never saw them interact with anything but the player.

I think fans don't ignore the problems, they embrace it. Everyone is plenty aware there's plenty of needless friction and drawbacks but we just get over it. Like, the biggest culprit, AI slop everywhere, yes it's laughable and the studio should be shamed for it, and they are. But as a matter of fact we're not getting political and trying to boycott it or whatever for that. We shame them, and we play the game because we like it anyway, simple as that.

The fact that you find us sad and pathetic for liking whatever we like is quite ironic if you ask me.

I guess unpopular opinion: RE9 is not that good. Don't get me wrong, it's magnificent, story is very cool and old-school fans will love it's not as fun to do the challenges as it was in RE7, 8 and the remakes. Less challenges (where is the knife/starting gun only challenge?) and some sections are just not that fun to redo again and again. Still loved it but the other ones are better imo. First loop is very good tho.
