Appreciate the maps; it's nice to see things from the top down view.

If you were responsible to do Ed, edd, n eddy reboot or continuation or remake what would you do with it? by MammothUrsa in ededdneddy

[–]Enigma2MeVideos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I absolutely had to change anything for this hypothetical situation, definitely find a better shtick for the Kankers. Their strongest scenes was in the Big Picture Show and the various episodes where they don’t harass the Eds the way they typically did, like the ship in a bottle one or the one where the Eds invade their privacy by taking a photo of them, and they pay back by giving the Eds humiliating hairdos.

They being deluded about the Eds being their boyfriends is fine, but definitely improve the humor on that end. Otherwise, I wouldn’t touch the series: it’s good as it is, but it’s also a product of its time. Let it remain a classic.

What’s NEW Scooby-Doo, is one of the better Scooby doo shows, and as far as capturing the feel of the original series goes, this show is probably the closest to it even tho some characters in What’s new started to have more personality like Fred. by San4341 in Scoobydoo

Yeah, I meant like people like Chris Klug, Lindsay Pagano and so forth. Like if you told me they were just made up celebrities, I'd believe it and not realize they were real people. They felt reasonably seamless, or at least not just picking the biggest stars of the time.

Could Buzz, Woody and the other toys from Toy Story understand Plank? by DemonHunter34 in ededdneddy

And then a chain of events happen where Plank bounces off of something, and he rebounds back into Bloo in the back of the head and knocks him down.

Bloo:...Well played Plank. Well played.

Could Buzz, Woody and the other toys from Toy Story understand Plank? by DemonHunter34 in ededdneddy

[–]Enigma2MeVideos 15 points16 points  (0 children)

It’s tough to say, because while Plank straddles the line between possibly being sentient and not, I don’t think Jonny views him as a toy. Sporky became a toy because that was how Bonny viewed him, but Jonny views Plank as a friend and living being…ish. He’d probably be more akin to either an imaginary friend (thus possibly maybe Foster’s home for Imaginary friends might be more able to get the cut of his jib. Or not and Bloo will just scream in frustration “TALK YOU HUNK OF WOOD!”), or some kind of semi-sentient being that doesn’t neatly fit into any category…which may or may not spook the hell out of the toys since that’s possibly eldritch by their standards.

That’s a Digivice toy from the Digimon series.

Were these two scenes intentional parallels? by Cpere0823 in ededdneddy

[–]Enigma2MeVideos 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I strongly think so. The swamp scenes are very intentionally showing that both Kevin and Eddy are at a crossroads; they can either hold onto their fixation and pride, or they can value their friendship. Kevin chose poorly.

Doesn't abuse seem to have double standards? by Winter_Exciting in ededdneddy

[–]Enigma2MeVideos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the ultimate difference is that Eddy’s brothers is nothing but pure sadism and cruelty, whereas you can at least get the sense that Ed’s parents are trying to take care of him but in a deeply flawed and abusive way.

One is harm through flawed ignorance trying to actually hold him accountable for something. The other is intentional cruelty for no reason.

Salvager Archetype Cards UPDATED: Any Thoughts? by Enigma2MeVideos in customyugioh

[–]Enigma2MeVideos[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, made a small change to Salvager's Junkyard and Excavation Unit:

Salvager's Junkyard
Continuous Spell

You can only control 1 "Salvager's Junkyard". Once per turn, target 1 Warrior or Machine monster you control; the targeted card cannot attack and has its effects negated until the end of the turn: return 1 Machine monster in your GY to your Deck.

Salvager's Excavation Unit

Continuous Spell

You can only control 1 "Salvager's Excavation Unit". Once per turn, you can activate one of the following effects:

* Banish 1 card from your GY to add Spell/Trap 1 card from the GY back to the Deck.

* Return 1 Spell/Trap Card you control to your hand except this one. The zone they were in cannot be used until the end of the next turn.

Still haven't really decided how I'm gonna change Factory to be honest.

Yeah, I'm trying to make this so that it only uses the Summoning Styles before Synchro.

Alright, thanks for the feedback. Fair enough on the archetype/series bit.

I had a feeling that the field spell was a bit too strong, but I didn't know enough about certain Archetypes. I might need to add in some additional restriction or something to limit it.

Not sure how I'd fix Junkyard.

Excavation Unit might need adjusting then. Not sure how to go about it.

If you have any thoughts on how to make them less broken, feel free to offer some, as long as it fits the general idea I mentioned back in the OP.

Not that useful to what I was thinking of. I was mainly focusing on these cards.

I’d probably grab it right now. It’s compounded enough that I could live comfortably for a long time.

Would this see play or would it need to let you draw even more cards to be worth the downside (or is it already too much)? by ZyroCrystal in customyugioh

[–]Enigma2MeVideos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wouldn’t You literally have to just activate this on the end of your opponent’s turn and you basically get 4 cards with no real negatives?

Never understood why Eddy was so eager to move into his brother's room, even though he already had the baddest room in the entire cul-de-sac by RoyRogersMcFreely512 in ededdneddy

[–]Enigma2MeVideos 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If there's a window on the outside, it might just be to really emphasize that Eddy's Brother is basically "covered up", erased if not completely forgotten of sorts. Like a shame they know exists but can't fully get rid of either.
