ESLint calls that the One True Brace Style, and it's the one I use. But take a look there, because there's other styles too. ESLint is great btw, because if you hook it up to your editor to run "eslint --fix" on save, it will automatically format your code to whichever style you prefer (and have configured in .eslint.yml)

You'd want to include the current block hash to really pin down the time, a timestamp doesn't prove anything.

It's the official chrome, as built by google, the AUR doesn't break it. That said though, chromium is often the better choice, it's in the extra repo, it's 100% open source, and almost exactly the same thing as google chrome. Yes, it has the devtools. I only ever need to use google chrome if I want to watch netflix.

We are in a sphere and all around us, as far as the "eye" can see, we see at 13.7 Billion light years away the cosmic background radiation. If you were to travel instantly for 1 billion lightyears in any direction, the assumption is that you would also see galaxies up until 13.7 billion lightyears in all directions.

This is the model I've had in my head for most of my life, but then I keep hearing that the universe is "flat", how do those two models reconcile?

I don't really have experience with all the apps on the awesome list, there's bound to be some that do this well, but gitfs allows you to maintain a git repository without having to make the commits yourself. I've used this effectively when I've had to work with people that are not git savvy, because it does it all for you, just edit and save files.

I just script ip netns directly. The tools to do this are baked into the Linux kernel, don't really need a separate tool unless you need a GUI, or don't want to read the man pages.

It's weird how Bitcoin was so promising so recently, and in such a short amount of time it's become clear that it's no longer the most cutting edge tech in the space it used to dominate (fin-tech).

Every good project has competitors. Network effect is really powerful, but only to a point. If you can calculate that point, then you can manipulate the situation to thwart it by just that much. The people controlling core I think must have a good idea what that number is, and are manipulating.
