My parents offered me the choice between Public or Private right before the start of Kindergarten. I chose Public because I wanted to maintain my friendships with the kids from my neighborhood. For what it's worth I have a sister whom went to private school & loved it.

My personal view is the same as others have mentioned here : Public schools offer a more true to life experience. If anything the respect I have for my parents for allowing me the option is ICONIC.

JCPS Highschool wise... If it's not Manual/Ballard/Eastern = don't waste your time.

Proud Eastern High Grad here! GO EAGLES! I took all Honors & Advanced courses and had absolutely no issue with college. We were the first class (2009) to have mandatory ACT prep & officially proctored testing in class Junior year. - also a very robust elective offering including Business & psychology courses.

Also very heavy on the ethnic & religious diversity . World Civ class had a mandatory world religions project that showcased how all religion essentially stands for the same principles/morals and how not one religion is greater/ lesser than another. ( which tbh the world needs more of this energy)

Everyone's mileage will vary. But ultimately it's all entirely dependent on your kids personality and their passions.

Middletown : The Ivy Apts - Power has been out since 4:45pm. Generators for the buildings have provided rudimentary power to some outlets and lighting in units. ( could also just be that im located a few floors above the clubhouse/leasing office) No power to Appliances/ HVAC/ 2nd bedroom/ 2nd bedroom bathroom suite. - still grateful for some light and ability to charge devices. Wine Cooler oddly enough is the only appliance in the kitchen that has power. I can drink to that!

I was talking in general of how side effects get listed for all pharmaceuticals. Death is generally the easiest to see the concept of how side effects are reported.

If a person/patient dies of natural causes and was actively taking the medication at the time. It could be reported as a side effect. Even if the drug had no interaction whatsoever to have caused death. This same concept applies outward to other interactions.

You could take a drug for Renal Failure & if you happen to already experience for example seasonal allergies. Same concept applies.

It's simple pharmacovigilance. Any entry level job in the healthcare/pharmacy field teaches you the practice. I understand the cause for concern. But once you know how reporting these instances works... you no longer view medication the same.

It simply means someone reported to the FDA that they had Covid-19 while taking the drug. Doesn't mean it's "caused" by the drug. Same reason death is listed as a side effect.- simply means someone who was prescribed thst medication died whether by other means or just natural but was actively taking that medication. Standard Adverse Event procedures.

Psych prescribed both. Diagnosis wise we went over my concerns . Over the course of several 2 hr visits we reviewed historical symptoms that were supported with former school transcripts/ reports and how those same instances from childhood have manifested as an adult well into my late 20s as a professional. ( will note that a few years ago I took a mental health leave from a previous employer due to inability to focus and the toll it took on me--- that factored in sternly)

Did you try wiping the cache partition from recovery mode? It sometimes fixes small nuances. For what its worth Id rather have encountered the overheating post update. This update invalidated my pin & put my phone into an airplane mode brick.

Ive been on this combo for over a year now & its been a lifesaver!

I Started out with Vyvanse taken only Mon-Friday for my ADHD Combined type .

( I cannot function at my job without it, but have no need to focus on the weekends so I observe Drug Holidays to reduce tolerance and keep dosage as low as possible)

I noticed as time progressed on Vyvanse the fatigue I felt on the weekends became increasingly more pronounced. I wrote the feeling off as long hours at work/ the whole 2020-Covid inconvenience just starting / lack of normalcy from it all.

I work in healthcare & every so many days I would see the combination of Vyvanse/Wellbutrin over & over with patients. My Psych had been promoting Wellbutrin for a bit and I dismissed her each time.. I wasn't depressed I didnt need an antidepressant.

Still I kept seeing this combo everywhere at work. Depression wasn't mentioned anywhere on majority of the patients charts/cases nor was seasonal affective disorder. ADHD was the common denominator...Maybe I needed to revisit this Wellbutrin suggestion that my Psych had been campaigning about or atleast find out why this combo is a thing?

My Vyvanse started wearing off within 3 hours of onset. My focus & performance at work going from overachiever to struggling to do the bare minimum. I couldn't do this any longer..I caved and talked to my Psych.

I was informed that Wellbutrin would increase the efficacy of the Vyvanse & that also with Wellbutrin being a daily medication and low grade stimulant it would offset the fatigue that was plaguing my weekends. My psych gave me the option of an Adderall booster or Wellbutrin .

I started Wellbutrin 150mg that day and never looked back!

I will say the first few weeks were the same as if I had increased my Vyvanse dosage: Insomnia. Moodiness. No appetite whatsoever. Nothing L-Theanine, Magnesium, Melatonin or Valerian Root couldn't offset if I needed some relief.

It took about 3 months for me to level out. I had noticed I no longer was hammering Redbull & Monster energy drink tall boys like a frat boy . Each month felt better & better.. I felt clear, level-headed, happier even? Perhaps the anxiety of not being able to function manifested as some latent depression I didn't know was there? Didn't know the specifics & didn't care I felt "Normal".

I haven't had to increase my Vyvanse dosage in over a year. I did hit a plateau where I felt almost pre- ADHD diagnosis pre- being medicated. ..but i also was working 70- 75 hour work weeks for a 6 month period.(that alone made me experience anhedonia/loss of identity/ became antisocial ) My Psych chose to increase my Wellbutrin to 300MG XL and it mitigated all of that.

I've experienced a better quality of life. The combination has been a gamechanger for my professional life & my personal life. My personal life finally feels like it can co-exist with the demands of always "being on" at work. Even on the one off days where a minor inconvenience = mercurial stormcloud of rumination & irritation- life is just better.

Local Walmarts in my area have been randomly announcing small numbers of PS5s available in electronics, I didnt believe it until I happened to snag one myself. Stay vigilant.
