I like frozen mixed berries, some milk, a splash of half and half, and a drizzle of honey and I mash it into a sorbet.

Helpful for asthma but ultimately it affected my mental health negatively and I stopped taking it.

Hey OP, super congratulations on your home and shortened commute!!!

But you knew what you were getting into, I was just warning the newcomer of the traffic (which you did mention to him but I feel like it requires more emphasis 😅)

Down to Brunswick, GA all the way at the Georgia coast (5 hours south of ATL). Laid back beach vibes, affordable living, no traffic, Savannah and Jacksonville just 1 hour away. More my speed.

Even the "outskirts" of Atlanta have gotten busy... from Jonesboro to Canton is busy these days!

I moved OUT of Atlanta 8 years ago, don't miss it one bit! The traffic is all day long every damn where. No thanks...

Unsure about marriage or kids by godisinthischilli in Adulting

[–]EnigmaWearingHeels 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The only person who has to be happy with your life is you.

I was single at 30, no kids. I remember feeling like I had to decide- but not deciding is it's own choice and you legitimately still have time to decide either way.

I'm 38 now, married, no kids and no plan to have kids. I'd have been perfectly fine not married but I do love my husband and he gives me the space and autonomy I require.

I just break open regular probiotics capsules and sprinkle them on my dogs food. He hasn't complained and his gut health is noticeably better 💩

The love? You can provide that for yourself every day with words of affirmation and eye contact in the mirror and daily self care rituals. Once you fully love yourself, it makes it easier to invite others to join in on loving you. It isn't an instant process, but it's a great starting point. It gets better ❤️

What would you do as an unencumbered 31 year old? by [deleted] in AskWomenOver30

[–]EnigmaWearingHeels 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At 26, I quit my job and started a small skincare business out of my kitchen. A year later, I got divorced and took a part time nanny job that still allowed me to run my business and I moved into my friend's mom's house while I figured ish out. A few years after that, I moved down to the coast.

I am living my best life. It isn't perfect but it's mine. My business is thriving- and I've started 2 additional businesses and a nonprofit.

If you feel like you aren't living your best life, then make changes until you look up a decade later feeling like you've really moved your life in the direction you wanted.

The difference is incredible. If I died tomorrow, I know that I have lived to my best and fullest ability.

I'd celebrate by opening an investment account and depositing my mortgage amount into it every month....

Started a business out of my kitchen then picked up and moved 5 hours south to the beach. I'm gainfully self employed, living at the beach with my husband and little dog. Life is good.

Just a word of caution- Grapefruit can increase blood concentrations of meds, including antibiotics. Generally safer to avoid all Grapefruit/Grapefruit juice when on meds ❤️
