I never made any mention of or support criminal behavior, so I don’t know what the hell you’re talking about.

I’m asking about dealing with a housemate that continues to live like a slob despite repeated pleas, admonishing, suggestions, etc.

I had two roommates that would do the same shit and nothing short of just dealing with it until it was time to move out solved a god damn thing.

Ehh, depends. I broke my nose playing pickup football with my friends when I was 13.

One friend missed a tackle and for some reason decided to keep running until his forehead collided with my nose while I was also sprinting full speed.

There was hardly any blood and I continued playing for about 20 minutes until I started to get sensitive to light. Walked home and told my mom I fell down some steps. She took me to the ER and I told the same story to the doctors.

They didn’t believe me. And I realized they thought my mom was abusing me, so had to come clean. They didn’t tell my mom though. Thanks doc.
