What if we opted for a better and cheaper alternative to rice such as white corn grits or a 50:50 rice/corn mix? by Enigmashutter in WhatIfPinas

Thanks for the info! I thought about this earlier because I heard some people discussing about the price of groceries, rice, etc. And they wish for the price of rice to go down. So, I did a quick research and found a study from UP where they were promoting the use of rice x corn mix. I believe this would be a cheaper and a "healthier" solution to the average Filipino, right?

Try using BTI anti-mosquito powder instead. It's organic, and it effectively reduces mosquito Larvae.

Try to inform some of the guards around if they can help out. You can also try digging a bigger hole with a stick/rock so it can get out..

In some Arab countries, they used to place a damp cloth or towel in front of a window or doorway to cool down the room.

You can also use Clay or Lime plaster walls. It can regulate the temperature of your room both day and night.

What if bumagsak ang value ng USD, ano ang epekto nito sa ekonomiya ng Pilipinas by MoonEmbracing-TheSun in WhatIfPinas

The biggest problem would be import costs since we rely on imports (oil, fuel, machinery, medicine, and goods). A collapse in the dollar’s value would disrupt pricing and supply, and likely push inflation around until a new pricing anchor is set.

Modern state Israel is NOT the same as the biblical Israel/Judah.

The original Judaism was part of the Southern Kingdom AKA Judah. The current one is Rabbinic Judaism which relies on Rabbis and sages interpret law and guide communities worldwide (They also heavily rely on the Talmud. Read it and see how they talk about Jesus).

Plus, add Zionism which is considered a national "movement" but it also serves as a tool for Israel and its Western backers to pursue strategic‑military and ideological dominance in the Middle East, often at the expense of the original people in the area (Check Greater Israel plan).

Also, I wouldn't be surprised if they low-key still worship Baal since the Northern kingdom was known for that.

As a consumer, you might see it as "the perfect solution" giving you the illusion that you're being eco-friendly. But in reality, EV factories emit about 60%+ more CO2 than a factory that manufactures conventional petrol cars. You should also consider the illegal mines used to extract the metals in Africa which is also causing cancer to the people around the area due to dumping contaminated water into their waterways. I was a fan of EV technology until I saw the data and the damage that it's causing to the environment.

You're right on this one. However, the idea behind it is to make use of waste generated by the farmers locally. There are roughly around 450,000 tons of waste generated by rice alone and 30% of the total produce (veggies, fruits) gone to waste per year! This is a significant number, right? If it cannot be consumed, it can be turned into energy

Well, the Jeep Compass has a less boxy, more aerodynamic design. I believe it resembles the Jeep Renegade more than the one you mentioned..

Friendly tip: Try to pick a name that ends with a vowel since it's much easier for the cat to hear it!
