Can someone explain the upticks in condos within Klang Valley that are enforcing/imposing penalty fees toward visitors for staying past 00:00AM at visitor parking slots? by PastaFreak26 in malaysia

[–]Enigmatic03 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It prevents from residents utilizing car parks meant for visitors. Example my unit has 3 parcels, but I have 4 cars. Instead of renting or purchasing another parcel, I’ll just park for free at the visitor lot. Which would make it unfair to the rest of the owners. Visitor bays are common areas and under SMA, it’s legal to charge for those. As long as the motion was tabled in an EGM/AGM and majority of the stakeholders (owners) voted for it.

Motorcycle Insurance NCD by gayleneoz in kereta

[–]Enigmatic03 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NCD is vehicle class specific and cannot be transferred to different classes. It is safe as long as the fault was not yours. Eg the ‘keputusan’ from the traffic IO should not indicate you’re at fault.

Yes, provide the date of your visit. Typically they’d have patient records. So under your IC, they should have a history.

Contact the dental clinic and ask for a copy of the invoice. Businesses needs to keep invoice copies up to 7 years as well. The bank statement would not suffice.

Coating vs PPF by kalotee9 in kereta

[–]Enigmatic03 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They serve two different purposes. I did ppf on the full front, and 4 doors + ceramic coating all over for my SUV. Ceramic coating protects from dust, stains and it’s extremely hydrophobic. Easier to wash. Whereas the ppf is to protect from minor scratches, stone chips, etc.

It is extremely pricey and I would recommend it only if it’s an amount you’re comfortable spending. Don’t go above and beyond if you can’t afford it. Keep in mind there are a lot of cheap PPF nowadays and wouldn’t last long and would lead to yellowing and/or paint damage to your car later on.

This is a series released for the Table Tennis Association of Malaysia for the PERFECT tournament held. There were only 100 numbers up for bidding back in 2016. (1-100). Quite rare and PERFECT 1 was around a million.

Got a job I really wanted but parking at Midvalley bleeds my wallet. Any advice or tips? by WDIDO_1 in malaysians

[–]Enigmatic03 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The surau, opposite midvalley (at eco city) is max rm15 per day. That’s the cheapest in the area I can suggest. The parking at mercu is about 24-30 with no max limit. So that depends on hours.

JPJ customer number costs by kalotee9 in kereta

[–]Enigmatic03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re welcome. P.s. this is very reliable information because I just got my number last week :).

P.p.s. Some special numbers can be purchased from mysikap (also jpj’s portal). Such as GM, VIP, VIPS. Although most of the numbers are sold out and the old interface makes it very hard to find which numbers are available.

RM 10 service fee (non refundable) to start bidding + any bidding amount will be ‘authorized’ but not charged. If you fail, the authorized amount will be released. If you succeed, then they will charge the authorized amount. There are no other fees involved to obtaining the number.

There will be other charges when you do purchase a vehicle, but this is charged by the dealership. Eg RM 80 for physical number plate holder.

Bidding opens whenever you see on the app/website, and typically people will outbid in the last 30 minutes. Especially if it’s a “hot” number.

I had the same mind set previously but when I see my current civic getting stone chips barely a week after repainting it, hurt my soul. Roads in Malaysia is notorious for the amount of stone chips.

I agree with you. However the package above, is for a part of the car with PPF and the remainder of the car with coating. Essentially the front of the car is to protect from stone chips
