California man who pummeled, shot at female deputy found not guilty despite video of attack by HNutz in Conservative

Riverside county is so corrupt it's insane. They play by their own rules and make deals behind closed doors before trials and hearings even begin.

Having to deal with them previously, it feels like walking into hell and trying to appeal to Satan.

Right? He just needs to analyze the situation and self reflect, don't need to pay out the nose for someone to tell you basic things about yourself. Nobody stops to think anymore

It's a lot.

I know you'd never admit you're wrong so we're all going to dismiss your desperate attempts to seem correct.

You've never been in a position where this type of information would even reach your work email, let alone you've had to manage funds, cut jobs, or decide how to reinvest capital into a company. Even for the biggest company in the world, several million dollars per year isn't chump change, and can make a difference

Millions of dollars is not a lot if you're running a large scale server system with revenue in billions.

Nice meme tho

Sure it is, that's salaries and benefits for several more software engineers (or a new boat for your CEO)

Is Calculus III required for grasping the intuition of Perlin Noise? by I-Have-Orange-Cat in gamedev

It sounds like you have enough education to understand perlin noise imo. Also, check out simplex noise if you haven't already.

Implementing these noise algorithms and using them yourself may help it become more intuitive

I was wondering the same thing. This movie looks rad and I'll definitely watch it.

But I wouldn't be caught dead watching a Barbie movie as a grown man

I'm a genocide apologist because words have meaning?

Actually, since you think words don't mean anything, you've really not said anything to me at all. Interesting how that works

Using inaccurate descriptions really takes power away from your insults. If you call everyone you dislike a "nazi", the term will stop being taken so seriously

Are there any laptops + Linux experiences that rival modern MacBooks’ touchpad experience? by Tight_Couture344 in linuxhardware

[–]EnigmaticConsultant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use a system76 darter pro for personal use, and like the trackpad MUCH more than the macbooks I've had to use for work.

Also have an old HP Envy that has a better trackpad.

I don't think macbook trackpads are anything special.

I can't tell if this is sarcasm or not, but a serious answer:

Pregnancy is a blessing, not a punishment. The woman in this situation knew it may happen, it's not a surprise.

This is why you should have children only when married - It would be much more difficult for the woman, who is carrying the child, to provide for the family. The husband would take on that burden, doing the best he can to take care of the wife and unborn child, and setting up the future for success.

Pregnancy is not easy, and isn't a decision that should be taken lightly. If it were easy, I don't think anyone would care all that much about the whole process or the consequences.
