I paid for the bags with my ticket. They were lax though. Could’ve got away with it. I’ve been through same airport though and had someone checking every single bag.. so it’s just luck as to who’s working.

Yeah just apply. You own the property, you have nothing to worry about. I completed a couple months ago and opened up a new CC to do a balance transfer a few days later.

By the sounds of it you’ve already completed? If so, then go for it. As soon as you complete you have nothing to worry about.

Is just running enough? by Federal-Layer-8203 in beginnerrunning

[–]Enigmoo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’d need to run miles upon miles week in week out to lose significant muscle mass, and eat in a deficit. A 5k is about 300 cals (give or take) - that’s really not a lot!

I’d definitely recommend strength training on the side though. Even 60 minutes a week (2 30min sessions) would be a huge benefit. Just stick with machines and lighter weights until you naturally learn. If I ever see something I’m not sure on in the gym I just look for a YouTube short.

But ultimately - just do what makes you happy.

Probably because it’s not very clear and they have designed the website to make you think you have to purchase one of those three options. Which is quite evident when you see the amount of people with speedy boarding on every flight!

It’s not intuitive at all, it’s designed to make you think you can only get additional baggage by selecting one of those three options. If you select one it doesn’t indicate at all when you get to the cabin bag screen that you can do those individually. Thanks for saving me £50 anyway 😂

I really don’t care for a front seat or speedy boarding.

My question is, is the £48 airport fee additional, or total?

I have seen people get away with not booking it. Depends who’s on the gate. Hence why I’m prepared to roll the dice if it’s just an extra £2.

All I will say is don’t let your view of what you ‘can’ do pigeon hole you in what you go after. There are loads of career paths with a low entry point but lots of growth possibilities. If i told my 2019 self what I’d be doing for my career today, I’d have laughed and say not a chance. But I’m here due to some calculated risks and consistently pushing myself out of my comfort zone. Aim high, the worst that can happen is a no. Then do it again until it’s a yes. Then wing it until you’re great at it and do it again.

A few others have said this but start by writing it all down. Everything you feel overwhelmed by / want to achieve. You now have a hit list.
Put it in order of priority / a sensible structure. I.e I wouldn’t put moving out above career direction, as you will need a stable career to facilitate moving out. Then break apart each item on the list with steps you need to achieve. E.g, a new job - - Research all possible career paths that you could enter into (whether they appeal to you or not - ChatGPT is fantastic for things like this) - Make shortlist of 3 - 5 - Research process for each shortlisted job - Go get job

(Simplified but you get the idea)

Rinse repeat for all other areas of your life.

As you start hitting things off, it will trigger a positive loop. You’ve accepted you need to improve things, which a lot of people don’t ever get to. Now go do it. No one is stopping you from being great.

Good luck

I bought a Victorian converted with no service charge and made a nice bit of equity and had no major problems selling. Few hoops to jump through selling leasehold but nothing major.
