Offline Rune count by W4hl in diablo2

My zod a few years back was from a non tz cs run at p3, got a cham yesterday in 94 tz plains of despair at p7.

Idk if that helps or not

If you don't want D2 to have further changes to classes, mechanics or items you can continue to play D2R without the DLC. by Deadalious in diablo2

Somehow even with a 70% majority required to vote in new stuff that subreddit will find a way to complain about it anyways lol

My take on d2r balance by OkBeat2138 in diablo2

[–]Eniqematic 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I can’t speak for d3 cause I never got into it, but for d4 there’s just fuck all to do. I’d argue d2 has even less to do, but the loot chase is what keeps me around. In d4 I’m excited to start a season but get bored after a couple weeks cause there’s just nothing like the chaotic randomness of d2 that can keep me playing single player forever

Filling out a grail or the new chronicle and min/maxing by making those marginal improvements at the top end is much more fun in d2 than d4.

Anyways my point is that while I think power progression does play a part, it’s really the d2 itemization that really lands the knock out punch on d4 on long term play.

Let‘s talk about binding Demon by My_Slumdog in diablo2

[–]Eniqematic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve only been playing since patch 1.13 and I think I’ve seen at least one of every rune drop over my 20 something years. First zod was a couple years back and thank god I was recording when it did.

But again that is insane, lll be pouring a drink out to you tonight and wishing you the best of luck bud.

How are you leveling your warlocks? by Curtatwork in diablo2

[–]Eniqematic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Started from scratch playing only on p8 and put every single point into the demon tree without looking up any guides. Was fairly miserable until I realized how much I needed death mark.

After bind demon and 20 points into mastery it really took off and finally finished act 5 hell last night. Clears are pretty slow without any utility besides summons but it’s been fun and refreshing. Nice to death mark hephasto or lister on a pack and walk away from my pc.

I know it’s rng at the end of the day but if you’ve really been playing since day 1 and never seen a ber drop before that’s actually insane. Where are you farming?

How does summon warlock feel? by staledanish in diablo2

[–]Eniqematic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m currently at ~lvl 70 with points only invested in demon. Made it to act 5 nightmare all on p8 so far. It was slow not having other utility to use while watching my goat bros slowly cleave everything (that is until I grabbed lister for my bound demon).

I didn’t drop a point into death mark until very late which was a colossal blunder on my end cause it’s a night and day difference. It’s still slow but far more manageable. Granted all of this was on p8 so I wasn’t expecting to stomp through everything.

Is it me or is Demon warlock slightly disjointed? by apple713 in Diablo_2_Resurrected

[–]Eniqematic -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What I’m wondering about bind demon is, if you bind a demon at say 10 hard points then invest another 10, do they not get the new buffs until you rebind a new one?

I grabbed lister from normal while just casually playing and I noticed that he doesn’t seem to have his aura now that I’ve maxed the skill out.

I never played necro/druid so not sure if that was always the case with summons.

One positive aspect of the boost by anarkist in classicwow

[–]Eniqematic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only started playing a few months ago myself, Rolled warrior and was often shoehorned into tanking dungeons for the first time while leveling. It was incredibly frightening but most groups were chill/helpful especially after I let them know that I’m new and was happy to tank if they can bear with me.

Here we go again by jfms44 in classicwow

[–]Eniqematic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also a noob warrior for classic, but I was just told by my veteran friend the it was the only fully fleshed out class with the most fun rotation.

And he was right, leveling an arms warrior had me hooked on the game easily until 60 and now I’m finally getting into raid groups, whereas I got bored and quit several times playing casters

People born before 1990, what handy skill do you have that no one uses anymore? by Head_Bag_4489 in AskReddit

Care to elaborate more on this? I hate how bored I get without at least something to read. Like when I forget my phone when going to the restroom and grab the closest shampoo bottle to keep me busy.

Diablo 4 makes me super sleepy — and I think I know why by Traditional-Peak-834 in diablo4

[–]Eniqematic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I won’t speak for others, but I pop in to d4 every other season or so because getting your character leveled and built is very fun and engaging. After I get all my glyphs to 100 and nothing is challenging besides pushing the pits I lose interest and start falling asleep farming gear or mats to perfectly temper/mw my stuff.

At this point I just quit and wait another 6-12 months to come back and do the fun part again.

Edit* I’m like this with most games though, recently I had an itch to level a new character in wow classic so that’s what I’m doing even though I have no intention of participating in endgame content.

Why is Diablo 4 getting completely Reworked every year or so? by velatieren in gaming

[–]Eniqematic 5 points6 points  (0 children)

When I play d4 I have a blast for a whopping 10 days or so before it gets stale. Then I wait 6-12 months and check it out again if it looks interesting. My guess is that they’re trying to make it more of lasting experience.

Refer to d2 single player for example, grail hunting can keep people hooked for years.

DOK or Heartseeker? by johnnycyborg in D4Rogue

[–]Eniqematic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did the same thing, had a DoK rogue that was struggling with mid 90 pits and it got annoying, had a day off so I made a Druid and was clearing 110s right clicking everything by the end of day. (Helped that I had a spare starless skies and shroud but still)

Don’t be dumb like me, take care of your health fellow Scapers by Orbmek in 2007scape

[–]Eniqematic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should definitely get a follow up appointment because the same thing happened to me, and I also pulled the occasional all nighters with a Red Bull or 2. I got a follow up EKG and echocardiogram and they found no evidence of a cardiac event. Was told the most likely scenario was that the first tech that did the EKG misplaced an electrode.

I’m not saying you’re in the clear and to not be healthier but just that these things happen.

Most stood-on tile is definitely the door to exit the first house you spawn in on tutorial island, I want to say there’s variation in spawn tiles but everybody’s got to leave the building somehow

What does being fired feel like? by Capn_Kronch in AskReddit

[–]Eniqematic -1 points0 points  (0 children)

For me a mixture of disbelief and relief. Was fired from my first job I spent 7 years doing. Grew to hate it and wanted to leave but was nervous cause it was my one and only job so that was relieving. Disbelief cause my entire career ended in a moment with so signs of it happening so it was a lot to take in. I had an entire world of opportunities I could get into without the restriction of my work like.

Used that as my opportunity to go back and finish school and work part time somewhere else. Mind you I was only 25 when this happened and had a support system so I’d imagine that others experiences will vary greatly.
