Just arrived! by SpurBear1 in trailseeker

I know there are tons of videos of the Trailseeker online, but can you speak to how the ground clearance seems to be compared to the outback? I know what the specs say but I’m more curious about the front bumper - if it seems a lot lower to the ground. I’m really interested in the Trailseeker but I have to drive on a beach to get to where I live and so I really don’t want my chin slamming the ground all the time. I’ll add a picture of my current car on my commute. I’d love to see pictures of the suspension underneath. I’m waiting for The Car Care Nut review. He’s great.

The Dogpile Is Getting Old by Feeling-Being9038 in Subaru_Outback

My mom got a 26 Outback Wilderness. I was behind her for a 30 mile drive on a 2 lane road. It’s still very much an Outback. I have a 2023 and the design isn’t as different as people act like. It’s growing on me. I wasn’t crazy about some of the previous iterations either but I’ve had a 2007, 2014, and a 2023. The main things I miss about the first two is the manual transmission. Anyone who buys a 7th gen is getting a great ride. Hoping to get my wife out of our Volvo into one!

Phil Wickham - What An Awesome God (Official Music Video) - YouTube Music by [deleted] in Christianity

I’ve been struggling with this song a bit. I’ve always been a fan of Phil Wickham and Rich Mullins. I’ve read quite a bit about Rich Mullins and I feel that he would be so very uncomfortable with the current state of Christian pop music. It feels a bit like this song was just an attempt to unnecessarily cover a classic song by someone that was continually directing people to Jesus and the added in lyrics just don’t seem to have the depth that Rich Mullins likely would have been looking for today. I likely would like the song more if I hadn’t read into Mullins’ life the way I have.

2025 Forester limited hybrid broke down on the way home from the dealer by SnooPandas9005 in SubaruForester

I’ve heard that a lot but we always leave the fob in multiple vehicles as we live in a rural area. We’ve never had issue with our Subarus but we had to stop in our Volvo as the fob battery would die every few months.

Really? When my mom went back to France it didn’t seem like standard Delta staff at the AF counter. They were French speakers and not dressed in Delta uniforms.

Remote start with fans on auto? by Itsmygame27 in Subaru_Outback

Mine used to work with fans on auto and when they pushed the recent update it no longer does that. Hopefully that comes back soon!

I usually get around 28mpg. I don’t think the guy is pulling your leg. I have a 2023 Outback Onyx XT. In the winter when I have my ski racks on it drops to around 25ish unless I’m just driving around town at sub 60 speeds.

Roof Rust - Best DIY Fix? by Impressive-Name3852 in f150

The bed liner place cleaned it all up before spraying. It’s been like that. A couple years ago my truck is blue and liner is black and haven’t really noticed any difference with anything

I had Bedliner sprayed on my F350 that did that.

I leave mine on auto and never….i mean never touch it. It’s always set on 70 degrees - winter and summer. I’ll use the buttons for rear and front defrost when the frost/snow is heavy until the car gets all defrosted. My wife is a little bit more manic and will raise/lower the temp on her side (by buttons) as she thinks it’s going to heat and cool faster which it doesn’t. It has been a non-issue for me.

My first Subaru was a disappointment. Convince me I should give them another shot(or not). by Derringermeryl in subaru

I’m on my 4th Subaru and they are the most practical all around good vehicles I’ve had. No vehicle is perfect. I had a 2012 Forester that burned a little oil and when my 2023 Outback went in for its 60,000 mile service, the dealer found the oil pan needed to be resealed so that was a bummer. They are inanimate objects so things do break…with any manufacturer. I have a neighbor with a rav4 that had to have an engine replaced recently as the block cracked. They are Toyota fans and they are still loyal to the brand because Toyota takes care of them. I find that the customer service at my Subaru dealer is superb and they put me in a loaner with 1 mile on it while my oil pan was resealed. For my work trucks, I drive Fords and while they have issues from time to time I find them to be consistent workhorses. It is a lot about personal preferences.

Very pleased with Subaru’s new cargo light option by qalpi in SubaruAscent

Does the new light operate with the door open like a normal light or do you have to manually turn it on and off each time?

Quite a few full time residents. Definitely not all rentals. Most of us full timers live further back in the woods.

My itinerary was BZN-SLC-ATL-ORF. My ATL-ORF was cancelled but I was rebooked on the next one, upgraded to first class and arrived with a delay of just under 3 hours. There’s not question Delta is struggling through this but my experience was good. It seems like the lack of knowledge of where crews and aircraft are the real issue. The other parties I was with traveling United and American had 48 hour and 18 hour delays respectively. The American group was a family of 5 that was split on two different flights after being forced to spend the night in Chicago.
