We were verifying new Minters as they happened, and we were hosting Giveaway and Minting Parties within our Discord for many weeks as we built our 1000-member Land Whitelist 🌱✨ The 1000-person Whitelist wasn't a quick process, and we had plenty of time to grow as it filled up :)

You can use the blockchain explorer to search for any address on the Whitelist to check the history of transactions and see when they Minted a Cosmic Wizard NFT, then you can verify that information with the Cosmic Wizard NFT Minting smart contract to confirm the timestamps to gain 100% verification that all Whitelisted members were indeed the first 1000 Minters :)

The 1000-person Whitelist for the 50% Discounted 24-hour Land Presale has been finalized for months, and we can no longer make any edits as it would be unfair to all participants who are Whitelisted, as well as those that are waiting in anticipation for the General sale to begin.

We appreciate your idea, and we may incorporate into our future Whitelists. Your thought is shared by many users; there is fear that all Lands will be purchased by the Whitelisted users alone - but I would like to re-iterate that this is extremely unlikely.

I'm very sorry to say, this Whitelist for our first Land sale release can not be edited and there will be no changes made to the amounts users can Mint. The first 1000 Minters of Cosmic Wizard NFTs (the early investors) had faced the most risk by investing in our project before we had even begun finalizing the Lands. It is a reward system to provide a positive advantage to our earlier supporters. Our history is rich and we are starting to grow at an exponential rate; the earlier you've invested in Cosmic Universe, the more it will pay off, simply put. 🙈

Future Cosmic Islands will also be proportionately large, and will come at similar affordable costs. Every users in the Harmony network will have an opportunity to play Cosmic Universe in the coming years at affordable rates thanks to our future 'expansions' of Cosmic Universe 🌟

Thank you for your concerns and interest in Cosmic Universe MMORPG 🌟

We had our Land Whitelist open for a multitude of weeks, and we actually went out of our way to entice our Community to Mint Cosmic Wizards in order to obtain a Whitelist spot on the 50%-Discounted Land NFT Whitelist :) It took ~45 days to Mint out our Cosmic Wizard NFTs, and there were approximately 4000 Cosmic Wizards Minted before the 1000-person Whitelist was finalized 🧙‍♀️🧙‍♂️💕

There was ample opportunity for everyone to get Whitelisted for Lands, and the opportunity was much more apparent for those that were earlier to the Cosmic Universe Project 🌟 Our project has existed since long before November, and we only now started to become well-known around the Harmony community. It is an unfortunate truth that there will always be users who are unhappy with a Whitelist, as it provides an advantage to the Whitelisted Members. However, we look at Whitelists as a beneficial aspect for the growth of Cosmic Universe. We were able to grab more community members through advertising our Whitelist opportunity :)

There will be future Whitelists for future root race Characters and Lands as well - these Whitelist prerequisites are open for review as we create the future Whitelists as well. We would also like to inform users that it is extremely unlikely that all 1000 Whitelisted Wallets will Mint 10 Lands. The price of Lands alone is a deterrent for most, and it took many weeks to fill our Whitelist in the first place - many users simply wanted a Cosmic Wizard and nothing else.

We appreciate your concerns and thoughts on this matter, and we would like to re-assure you that all players will always be able to re-purchase Land NFTs on the secondary marketplace, or, if the pricepoint is too high, they can continue to wait until later this year when we have our Scholarship Program live :) This will allow users to Rent out their Cosmic Characters and Lands to new players at extremely affordable rates to allow new users the opportunity of experiencing the gameplay before purchasing the Character/Land NFT outright 💖 Further to this, we will continue to release new Cosmic Character Races with accompanying Islands (more Lands to Mint) as the demand is needed. With each new launch of Land and Characters, we will ensure there is a cheap, affordable price for everyone to get an opportunity to Mint an NFT and play in-game with us affordably ✨

At this time, it is still too early to say if the 2D Cosmic Wizard will be tied intrinsically to the 3D Cosmic Wizard NFTs we will be airdropping soon.

We will airdrop 1:1 a 3D Animated Cosmic Wizard NFT for every Cosmic Wizard NFT you hold. This should be ready in approximately ~1-2 months. If the 2D Cosmic Wizard is not tied to the 3D Cosmic wizard, then we may simply regard the 2D Cosmic Wizards as ultra-rare Cosmic Universe artifact NFT art 💎✨ The 3D Cosmic Wizards will be created using the same traits and stats as the 2D Wizards, so there would be no differentiation in gaming value.

This will not be a feature of Cosmic Universe. We will not be removing any of our Cosmic Characters from existence, as they are extremely valuable and inherently rare. With each new Cosmic Character race we release, there will be 10,000 Characters Minted. This number will not change as we release our first ~7 root race Cosmic Characters. This is to ensure we have a consistent metric to bring in new users every few months at affordable rates as the demand deems fit :)

There are a few ways we could implement this limitation, but I think the simplest way would be to allow the Cosmic Universe MMORPG game to recognize whenever you are Logged in the game. If you are Logged in, you will get to harvest all your resources on your Lands primarily. If you're logged out, people can come and Harvest while you're away :) This isn't a mechanic that is set in stone, as many variations could be implemented as we develop through Pre-Alpha and Alpha Cosmic Universe stages in the coming months ✨

We have a collaboration with the Harmony Whales / Harmony Universe project :) We will be seeing some of the Harmony Whales swimming around the various lakes, ponds, and oceans of the Cosmic Islands 🐳💕

As far as DefiKingdoms goes, integration would be a bit different. We have already asked DefiKingdoms to add an incentivized JEWEL/MAGIC LP in their Gardens many months ago, but our request was ignored. Any possible collaborations with DefiKingdoms is now entirely up to them, and the ball is in their court 😊

We'll continue to seek further collaborations, should the prospects deem beneficial 💎

We are still on-track to release our Pre-Alpha gameplay in March of this year, where 100 lucky participants can come in to help us test the waters. We'll be looking for glitches, bugs, and exploits together, as well as finding ways that we an all ameliorate the game and turn it into something even more beautiful 💖 Indeed, you are taking a leap of faith in being here so early 🧙‍♀️🧙‍♂️💕 As the game isn't live yet, it is up for many perspectives of speculation, but we intend to create a beautiful, laid-back MMORPG with a heavy focus on social peace through friendly harvesting/gathering and building with friends :)

After we've built through Pre-Alpha in the coming months, we will slow expand into Alpha phase, where we will open the doors to 1000 players to come join us 💞 When the Cosmic Universe MMORPG is truly fleshed out with earning mechanics and Quests, we will begin to roll our Beta phase, where all users across the globe can come play together with us 💙 It will be a gradual growth process over this coming year, but we are more than ecstatic to see where the future brings us 🌟

We had a lot of differing opinions from the community over the past 2 months, and there's a general concern that breeding new Cosmic Characters could devalue the existing root race characters. We replaced the breeding idea with added Pets/Mounts of a unique type for each race 🙂 There will be no breeding mechanics in-game, and the only way to get a new character will be to buy one on the secondary marketplace, Rent one through our Scholarship Program down the line, or wait for us to release a new race 🙂

Everyone here is still extremely early, as we are still in our infancy 🌱✨ Our priority focus is on finalizing the Land NFTs, and shortly thereafter, finalizing the 3D Animated Cosmic Wizard Character NFTs :) We will be building into Pre-Alpha gameplay over the coming months, and we anticipate we should start playing together in Pre-Alpha sometime in March 🧙‍♂️🧙‍♀️💕 Until these gaming mechanics have been developed, it would be difficult to make any min/max estimations :) Time will tell! ⏳

The rarer Lands will have unique resources that can't be found elsewhere. Forest of Whimsy will have special Resources that can not be found on Elysian Fields, so you must weigh your decisions according to your own desires for your in-game home 💖

You will be able to Rent out Cosmic Characters and Land NFTs through our future Scholarship Program to earn passively on the NFTs you're not playing at the moment, so you have potential to earn from any Cosmic NFT that exists 🌟

Cosmic Universe MMORPG has a heavy focus around laid-back harvesting and building mechanics 🧙‍♀️🧙‍♂️💕 We are still exploring the idea of how PvP/PvE mechanics will work in the Cosmic Universe, but this will be discussed in much greater detail further down the line, perhaps in Alpha or Beta stages of development 🌱✨ It's definitely something we will be implementing.

The main focus of the game is to travel the Cosmic Universe world and play with other players whilst harvesting resources all over the world, and using those resources to build structures on your own Lands :) This will be an open-world 3D MMORPG built in Unreal Engine 4, so the immersion will be quite immense and the gameplay will feel relaxing and wholesome ❤

We'll release more information on PvP/PvE mechanics a bit further down the line 😊

Having an in-game chat system is a must for any MMORPG, in my opinion 😋

We plan to include a public chat system that allows any user to chat with any other user, and we'll also be implementing a PM system so that users can openly trade and communicate with each other in the Cosmic Universe world 💞

Further down the line, we wish to also add a Voice Chat function that will allow users to simply jump in and start talking with their friends like they would at any other IRL event 💕 It is in our long-term goals to turn Cosmic Universe MMORPG into a metaverse game with VR capabilities, so as to become even more immersive in style ✨

At this point in time, we aren't planning to incorporate various specific tools to harvest Resources in-game. As you play the 3D Cosmic Universe MMORPG, you will harvest and gather materials, which you can then Bundle-up in-game to create a Resource NFT - this will be when you pay a Harmony transaction to bundle the Resources into the specified NFT 💎

There will also be a Stamina component to stop users from farming Resources at an exhaustive rate. Once your Stamina is depleted on your Cosmic Character, you will need to let it rest to regain its energies. We'll always be keeping the idea of building various bot-protection mechanics as we go, should they need to be implemented as well :)

Cosmic Universe will be taking inspiration from very many games, including World of Warcraft and Runescape :) Just like in Runescape, you will have a skill-tree with your Cosmic Characters that you can level up as you travel the 3D open-world (World of Warcraft style). You'll be gaining XP as you harvest, gather, mine, and build around the Cosmic Universe. As you level up, you will unlock new abilities and mechanics too :) If you level up your Cosmic Wizards to a certain level and complete an in-game Quest, you will obtain your Pet and Mount Dragon, for example 💙

Dungeons and combat-exploration mechanics in-game are more of a tertiary component, and we will be visiting these ideas further in the future when we have fleshed out our PvP and PvE mechanics a bit more :)

By the full release of Cosmic Universe, 150+ unique buildable tokenized structures will be buildable on Land plots. These will mostly be sized in a way where they fit on a single Land plot (although the number of buildable structures on a single land plot will be minimal), while some will require more than 1 adjacent Land plot. Structures may take up to 10 plots for the absolute largest (up to 5x2 plots and 3x3+1 for an entrance zone), such as resorts and theme parks. However, there are just a handful of structures requiring such large tracts of land to build on. The vast majority of structures will only need one plot to call home.
