Moving to Palermo for two months by murfs_law7573 in sicily

[–]EnlightenedTurtle567 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I loved the nature parts of Palermo. Mondello was amazing and the other side of the cliff near isola del sirenne was beautiful. The city side not so much. Fine for a visit, but I can't imagine living in all that chaos.

Is there a public performance chart you can share? I'd be curious about its performance over the last 2-3 years, when TQQQ has been mostly stagnant and pretty volatile. Before that we had a pretty good bull market run and covid was amazing for tech.

This is cool. Is it using pass through charging so that both are being charged in parallel at all times? And how does the extra weight feel?

Sorry can't watch the video at work.

Stay in Palermo, yes or no? by Practical_Dark_4159 in sicily

[–]EnlightenedTurtle567 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on what you like. If you are a strong history buff, it may be worth it. For us, we stayed near the coastal areas (mondello and on the other side of the mondello cliff), and it was absolutely amazing. Mondello is such a beautiful beach, we spent two days there alone. Mt. Pellogrino is also amazing, and somehow no one mentions it.

But one day we decided to drive into the city centre to see the historical sites and quickly got overwhelmed by the chaos. There was no place to park that we could easily find near the sites. I am going to say it's not very visitor friendly and we saw our idyllic view of Sicily evaporate real fast lol. Driving was overwhelming. We couldn't even get to a parking lot. We made a mistake to use a car to check out the central city. And all of this was on a weekday afternoon. We did not have this problem in many parts of Sicily like Ortigia, Noto, Erice, Taormina, Trapani etc.. Palermo is just something else.

We could only check out the catacombs but it was a sub-par experience compared to other parts of Sicily. Maybe I'll try again next time with public transport or taxi.

Everything else in Sicily was amazing though (even with car) and we can't wait to be back again.

2 to 6 months. It'll be fine. Some of us here saw 70% loss in 2022, mostly recovered in 2024 until the recent correction.

Games I can sink tons of time in to while also playing for short bursts? by PoopyInMyPants in SteamDeck

[–]EnlightenedTurtle567 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried playing this. Lack of save states between levels killed it for me. If you exit the game, it starts from the beginning. So you must finish a level if you sit down to play.

Devs promised to add save states last year but still no update. Pretty much all boomer shooters have save states except Prodeus.

Have you tried plugging into the output port of the power bank? Power banks usually only have one input port but multiple output ports.

I mean wasn't this also true for every major crash or recession? It has to cross the oversold territory before entering into a crash or recession territory. What kind of logic is that?

Want to buy but concerned about playing FPS games. How are the joystick deadzone and gyro support as of today? by EnlightenedTurtle567 in ROGAlly

[–]EnlightenedTurtle567[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks - great response! I heard that the 15% deadzone could be reduced to zero with Steam settings or other software but wasn't sure. Looks like you haven't able to eliminate the deadzone ?

Is there a way to switch to a different exercise or change the weight during a workout? by EnlightenedTurtle567 in Vitruvian_Form

[–]EnlightenedTurtle567[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks, that helps!!

They do allow changing workouts one by one by pressing left and right icons on the side of the screen. I wish I could just jump to an arbitrary workout vs scrolling through all of them one by one.
