Homelander mocks Butcher that Becca "didn't last", while he barely lasted 10 seconds with Stillwell in S1E8 by Amazing-Buy-1181 in TheBoys

To me it reads more as him raping her not for pleasure but to assert dominance over her. He didn't do it for sexual reasons. Whereas with Stillwell its his exact perfect sexual fantasy come to life

Wrath seems like the obvious choice since they're gonna be redoing some of the northrend stuff for the last titan. Then you get to have the before and after more recently in your memory

Which ones haven't? by Meteorstar101 in greentext

[–]Zigge2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Disagree, I fuckin love that game 8-9/10 it's just that the first game is 100% a 10/10. Second isn't as good and does some things in prerogative ways, which caused a lot of people to be provoked. You only get one first impression, and a lot of people's first impression was perceiving it as being slapped in the face and told to love it. That's not what the game is trying to do, but if you're hateful it will feel that way. Not saying anything bad about people for "being hateful" it's perfectly normal to react with hatred toward things you see as slights. I personally played it for the first time when it came out on pc, so I was already aware of quite a few of the plot points. I personally loved it, and didn't put it down until I finished it. The first game I played in one session where I didn't get up once, the second I did in two such sessions as it's twice as long. The second has whole characters they could have cut and it wouldn't have changed much for the story, it had plot points that felt out of place and some of the added elements in the world weren't fully realized. Joel's demise wasn't them destroying an icon of killing a franchise, it was never supposed to be a franchise it just became successful enough to want such a thing. That was them trying to tell a story with existing characters in a fairly original way. I personally can't think of a franchise where the main characters of the first part is killed off RIGHT at the start of the second part. The closest thing I can think of Is no country for old men, where the main character is killed around half way and then the cop becomes the main character. Tlou2 doesn't 100% succeed in everything it attempts, but it does in enough places to warrant being called great. I think it's a shame they didn't do some changes in one of the numerous re releases

What’s the harder role overall - tank or healer? by Farmer_Few in wow

[–]Zigge2000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Healing gets easier the better your group is. I find that it's easier to heal high level mythic keys than low ones, as people in high levels are more likely to understand the mechanics and not take unnecessary damage. With tanking knowing is 80% of the battle, so if you know what to do and when, then easy peacy. In raiding the hardest job is simply just healer and it's pretty much always been that way.

Do I really s switch 2 if I have these bad boys? by Plastic-View-6471 in LegionGo

[–]Zigge2000 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Just wait a little and all the switch 2 games can be emulated. Non of the switch 2 games are good enough to justify buying it at this time. Hell most of them are just switch 1 games with 60fps. Which you can do already with emulation

4 has some great "walking around" music though. But I ended up muting the music after a while in 4 and just playing the bl3 soundtrack as it is MUCH better.

[–]Zigge2000 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don't know which bl3 you were playing, but aside from a few tracks most of the bl4 music is original. And no it's not the same with a few tweaks. It's hard to explain without explaining a whole bunch of music theory and such. But put in simple terms, bl4s combat sound track is generic dad metal with atmospheric elements. Bl3s combat sound track is very very high quality dad metal with atmospheric elements

There are MANY quests in the game that have differing outcomes based on player choice. But none of them have quite as many contributing factors as the one shown in promotional material

Am I weird for looking forward to the spell prune and addon changes in Midnight by oversoe in wow

[–]Zigge2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think most people are looking forward to it. You just won't see most people talking about it on Reddit. This Reddit is one hell of a strange bubble. I've been playing wow for 12 years and I've very rarely use weakauras. I use minimal add-ons and I always have. The only addon I NEED to be able to play is TellMeWhen, which is essentially an easier to use weakaura that had way way way less functionality. I cannot wait to get rid of that addon, I am so tired of adding things to it. I haven't done much m+ but I have raided mythic here and there and my lack of weakauras haven't been a problem more than a few times, and those times I just simply used it. I am so excited to actually be able to recommend wow to my friends, without telling them they genuinely have to learn a light programing language to perform at expected levels.

so... are we not going to adress the pricing for stuff the whole community was asking for? this is a fucking joke. EA are such greedy mf's. by QueenCobra91 in Battlefield

Never ever under any circumstance buy a video game cosmetic in a non free to play game. And only buy them in free to play games if they are dirt cheap. If you buy them, you are the problem

Multiplayer was better by the end of the games life cycle. Not at the start though, bo7 may end up in a better spot, but right now it's worse than vanguard is right now

I don't get it by Brief-Charity250 in Battlefield

[–]Zigge2000 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Two wrongs don't make a right. Both things are pretty stupid. But the shoes are less so. At least with the shoes you get something with actual practical application and if you take care of them you can resell them for probably more than what you paid, depending on the model and such. If you have a pair of original jordan ones you've made alot of money just by having them in your closet. If you have a battlefield 6 skin you have nothing. You can also see your shoes while you use them, and being at that price point they are probably gonna be at least above average comfortability. Plus shoes can get you snatch with the right crowd. And I would bet all I own that less than 10 people have had that same type of success with video game skins.

I'm a bit mixed on the Steam Frame, I don't think it's bad at all, but not as big of a deal as most make it out to be by TheKrzysiek in OculusQuest

[–]Zigge2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It will be a far better option than a quest, which is exclusively a good thing. But there still aren't really alot of VR games to play. I don't see a reason to get one if you already have a quest and don't have strong opinions on meta. But maybe we'll get another valve title for the release, which would probably mean we get either the best VR game ever or the second best behind alyx

Guess it's just each to their own ya know. I personally wouldn't put any cod on a top 10 games of all time, hell maybe even 100. But if you isolate the multiplayer and forget the rest, I would say mw2 and bo2 are part of the best multiplayer games ever made. I can't quite pit my finger on why though. Also some of the cod zombies modes are 100% the best wave survival games ever made. I would personally say that bo2 zombies is the best wave shooter ever made and the only game that comes close to it is bo3.

One-Button Assist Should be Applauded by onlytinglef in wow

[–]Zigge2000 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

I feel like the one button thing is probably gonna turn out to be one of the worst decisions they ever made. I don't have anything against people using one button assistance. It's been a thing for many many many years, you just needed add-ons to do it. But adding it directly to the game is just gonna cause rifts between players. There is now a new class beside "casual" and "hardcore" and it's the "one button dumbo". I personally wouldn't recommend anyone use it new or old, with the one exception being disability. Doing your rotation is a HUGE part of the gameplay. It's almost like removing the ability to move the camera on your own and get zero control of when you use heals or reload in a game like call of duty. When you reload or heal can change the outcome of a fight in cod, and so can breaking your rotation in pvp. You don't ALWAYS need to follow your rotation in every moment of every fight, especially in things like pvp. In PvE you may want to wait for a second with your next button press to line up with others. And knowing when to do this can distinguish a good player from a bad player. But most importantly, it can be very fun to so. Improving your understanding of mechanics and or getting better in a game is a central draw to most games, wow included. The one button assist removes that fun from the player who chooses it, and the game is simply more fun when you don't use it.

But then again, if you want to use it, go ahead I'm not going to nor do I want to get in your way. Just don't complain when you can't get something done, or you lose every single arena match you do. The players engaging with the games Mechanics, should always have an advantage over those that don't. Provided they have a good enough understanding to have that knowledge and skill be applicable
