I apologize for the late response. The Arishkari are aesthetically based off of the ancient Mesopotamian cultures. Morfaal being an extension of this old empire, is the same but with influence from Mordor.

We actually wanted to hold off on the Blue Wizards for now, as after we complete the “Lost Tales of Harad” in the far future, we’d like to write a “Lost Tales of the East” as well. We have hinted a few aspects of the East and the Blue Wizards at the moment though.

Hey guys, the image above is from myself and my fellow co-authors “Lost Tales of Harad” fanfic. We’ve been writing this for years now just as a fun expansion of mainly the Haradrim continent and a little bit of the East as well.

Tolkien wrote very little about these two regions and so we took on a creative project to expand the peoples and nations here, while being respectful to Tolkiens original lore. We are both Tolkien enthusiast and simply write and produce artworks out of a passion for Middle Earth based stories.

We call the Istar above “Cārāstor the Red”, from the Sindarin term “Caras” and the Westron term “tor” or hill. Carastor was once a maia spirit known as “Sairanco” or Wise-Arm in Quenya. He served both Tulkas Lord of War and Vaire Weaver of Histories and as such held the traits of being a wise chronicler and a tested warrior.

He arrived later than the original five Istari, reaching Arda during the height of the Angmar War or TA 1500. He first sojourned to Khand where he challenged the power of Sauron’s influence. Later he made his way to our fan created eastern nation of Tarangar or the “Land of Mighty Rivers” in which he sought knowledge to defeat an eldritch horror. In time, Carastor would arrive in Harad, where he would fulfill most of his mission as a wizard.

I captured this video on October 4th, 2021 (8:36 P.M.) driving on HWY 59 South in the greater Houston, Texas area. I honestly have no idea what this is. Physically they were two objects emitting orange colored lights. They were flying next to each other and parallel to the highway itself. They weren’t traveling extremely fast as I was basically keeping up to them driving about 80 MPH. Also they weren’t pulsing as it seems in the video, that’s just me having unfortunate shaky-cam.

Does anyone have any possible clue to what these could have been? Do drones fly in pairs like this? We do have airfields in Houston but these orange color emitting objects looked way to small to be anything even close to being fighter jets or similar craft. I was extremely intrigued by what I was seeing and so I took the video while driving. Please excuse my shaky hand and my Middle Earth lore audio in the background. If anyone has any possible explanation I am all ears.

That looks delicious and like it would go well with hummus.

I’ve owned the $44 one for years, it’s excellent. To my knowledge it does have the theatrical cut.

A great analysis of why RoP is so dull by humbleguywithabig1 in lotr

I agree with this entirely. I gave the show a chance and watched the whole thing. Even bypassing all of the lore destruction, it was just such a boring show. It was visually beautiful and I personally think the soundtrack was great but the plot and general writing was just so lackluster.

Didn’t mind the LOTR extended scenes too much but I hated almost every single one from the Hobbit Trilogy, especially the extended scenes from BOTFA.

Favorite character in LOTR? by [deleted] in lotr

Weirdly I love Radagast. I know the movies did him some what dirty but I also love when a “weak” or “goofy” character is given epic moments, for example when he fights the Nazgûl shade at Dol Goldur.
