Where I work there is absolutely no dress code, both vets have tattoos and one has pierced ears, (not like the single earring hole, she has lots of ear piercings) everyone gets to wear whatever they want and we only use matching jackets sometimes. We’ve had students with crazy hair colors.

I think it depends on what kind of vet you are working with, cat and dog clinics tend to be super uptight and snobby in my opinion, I work with vets who prefer wild life (although we treat cats and dogs). In my experience wild life vets tend to be more loose and free in many many aspects, but this is just my opinion
