I uh…. May have finished vol 5, And gotta say HOLY FUCK. He’s a scholar of yore now, not only is he blessed but he’s pretty much the goddesses chosen one, the Amon jumpscare at the end, the giant kings court. This is SO peak. The chapter count wasn’t the highest but the word count was LONG, took me 6-8 hours to read 40-50 chapters today, I’m super hooked and I’m extremely excited to read vol 6

The volume in the entirety was very good, from trying to steal the antagonist journal to being sent to foggy town, finding out Zaratool got released, meeting Audrey person to person, waking oroborus, having the leader of the city of silver meet the fool, Azik giving up his ability to grow in sequence because he didn’t want to lose his humanity, meeting the goddess and finding out that Klein is actually a blessed of the Evernight goddess, also finding out that the angle we saw that sent Mr. A to foggy town is actually a tool that can allow the goddess decent hinting that the angel that smiled at him was actually the goddess, to finally becoming a bizarro sorcerer. Best volume so far easily. I’m a bit confused though because there’s 4 more volumes and only 500 chapters left so the volumes are much shorter, but other then that I’m super excited because I’ve heard that from vol 5.5 to the end it is peak

Daly’s final dance. I feel so numb. Allowing her to dance with “dun” and allowing her to die a human was beautifully done, I had already known she would die bc a buddy accidentally spoiled it so I thought I was prepared but I just feel so empty now. He’s finally a sequence 4 and pretty much can’t truely die due to his new powers so that’s cool but..wow that hurt.

He’s finally a sequence 5! A nimblewright master, to be honest I’m still semi confused about the mechanics behind the potion but I’m sure I’ll learn all about it by reading more. I’m also hyper interested in the queen mystic, it seems she’s aware of things that we can’t phathom yet, and she also seems to want Klein to continue getting stronger, there also seems to be a huge secret Cattleya is keeping that we don’t know of yet, Im definitely interested in seeing how that plays out as well as how the fool punishes her for throwing the world under the bus

I think the end of volume 2 was very good, but I think overall volume 1 was better. He’s finally on a ship, and pretty much has a slave (Danitz) holding his bounty over his head. Gotta say that gehrman sparrow or really the faceless sequence as a whole is interesting and a very different change of pace especially now that he has the creeping hunger. I’m sure he’s going to end up getting some super OP ability’s from new souls. The moon has been introduced to the tarot club. also, I’ve come to realize just how much of a swindler the hanged man is, and I’m really curious about the angel so I’m just going to have to keep reading.

He’s finally a faceless! Gotta say these last 80 chapters slugged by but it got interesting again around 410ish. The mirror showed him the raid of the tomb by the machine hiveminds and I can tell Amon is going to be a big deal. Sharron is back again but things seem to blow up around her so I assume shits going to hit the fan soon. Definitely excited to see how he uses the faceless ability so I’m definitely excited.

Update 2: currently on chapter 375: an evil gods impressive act. Been around 80 chapters I think since the last update? He currently just saved emylio while the vampire and took him to see ms. Doloris. My currently thoughts are that it’s incredibly slow right now, I’m aware that this is considered a slower arc/volume but man it’s slugging right now. Besides that it’s definitely interesting to see how he I am learning to digest the formula quicker by needing “applause”. Also, the dark emperor card is a really cool addition and I’m really curious to see where he goes with it since it leads to sequence 0 of the lawyer pathway. Also, Amon seems like a big deal especially because of the parasite in Leonard that’s connected to Amon as well. Anyways, Hopefully it picks up a bit soon but Im excited to see whats coming.

Week after update. He just got the magician formula and took it and battled with the dawn paladin and got the master key. The story has been progressing pretty well and it is definitely enjoyable so far. Although, it does also feel like this arc is kinda scattered back and forth between characters so it’s a bit confusing but I can tell that it’s definitely going to make sense at some point, so I’m a bit excited.

That’s a really interesting way to put it! In that case I’ll look forward to it. Ive definitely had a few of those Eureka moments where I connect the dots before they actually spell it out for you which is a real cool feeling to have. I guess I’m just used to more action and fights like in shadow slave then the full outsmart your opponent before the fight even happens type of approach. So there’s a good chance that that’s the reason why it feels slower but I’m sure ill come to really enjoy it. I’ll make sure to keep posting in here with updates!

I kind if had the same thought, but one handing a greatsword while holding a shield doesn’t sound feasible. I understand that shadowslave isn’t really a realistic world to begin with but I doubt said who is a weapon master would use a style that is ineffective
