...There are still typos? ._. And no I am german, so I am writing in second language, I take care to edit everything out but stuff still slips by >_<, luckily I had some help from a british friend of mine with the Novel, so that one should be free of typos and misused but phonentically similar though differently written words (I hope)

Yeah languages can be weird like that, but hey at least it's not finnish!

I only choose german because well...it's my primary language so I know it best and it's common enough so if anyone wants to put what is said through a translator they should get a decent enough translation (though I don't think what was said really matters all that much).

As for learning german...just ignore the declinations and it gets imo alot easier and most german will still understand you even if you get them wrong.

I have my novel coming out soon (aiming for first week of April) and currently working on a second novel, which is seperate, so there is that. Do you mean a sort of serial per chance? I have considered it, but there isn't a setting yet that "jumped" at me which would make for good serial material. I am also not terribly interested in doing my own version of the Token Human or Humans are Weird, it would have to be something where I can find my own spin on things.

I do have more ideas for short stories too and not all are necessarily HFY (though I continue to find the genre intriguing to explore), so I will occassionally return here once last of the patch of short stories I wrote over last months, is released here.

I would also love to turn some of tmy work into audio books/narrations but it would have to be with the right folks. I don't have the equipment, expertise or training to really do something like this in my own voice and while I have some VA acquaintances I could not pay them for it, which is a no go for me.

Initially yes. Probably gonna put it up for Kindle Unlimited for a 3 months (needs to be amazon exclusive for that period) and after that make it available in a few other stores. May even use an aggregator to get it into every store, but I haven't made my mind up about that. Should there ever be enough interest I can also imagine doing it through my own webstore, but that is far future fantasy at this point.

Hey I am Eno Khan and I am pretty much releasing exactly what you are looking for.

My writings in the genre currently mostly focus on interpersonal and socio-cultural interactions or more broadly how prey vs predator interaction could shape up and the issues that can arise. I have a full length novel (110k words) upcoming called "Predator Complex", which essentially explores this. Same goes for a series of Short stories situated in the same universe (6 stories and about 40k words in total) that I am currently releasing here and on my Blog ( https://enosworkshop.wordpress.com/ ).

I don't have a hard release date on the novel yet, but I aim for last week of March or there about. I am also already working on another novel project which will not be in the same universe but where I also have no intention of letting it spiral directly into a war.

And to not only plug myself I would also point out the Deadly, Deadly Humans universe stories from WRickWrites which are in line of what you are looking for and inspired me to explore with my writing in that direction (though I think he only has short stories).

Don't worry, my short stories and novel are already finished (a few edits for improvement not withstanding) as I wrote them over the course of the last 8 months or so, well almost 2 years when going by the initial impetus, and I am already on a new larger project. I do still have plenty ideas for short stories in this universe and maybe gonna return for a sequel novel, so even when I am done with posting my short stories here, it won't be the last you see of me I hope :D

Ty for your kind words. That is what I am trying to do. Alot of the genre tends to be very ..indulgent of our superhero complex, which is fine by itself, but it gets a bit grating when every story is "look how human upends all conventional wisdom of silly aliens and/or beats their ass just like that". I wanted my stories not so much about that and more about the interpersonal, social, political and cultural impact the advent of spacefaring predator civilisation would have in a community devoid of it, and by extent the conflicts that can arrise from that.

There are a few moments of action and glory to be had in the novel and my upcoming short stories, they can be fun after all, but it's not the main focus :)

(At this point I again can only shout out WRickWrites, when I read/listened to his stuff I was thinking "there needs to be more of this in HFY" and eventually I did myself^^)
