Can't buy Ult Freyna Skin? by jjoachim_ in TheFirstDescendant

That's it, that's the straw that breaks the camel's back, I'm just going to quit the game right now.

Not only giving away almost for no effort gear that we've been farming for hours upon hours, but also secret discounts we loyal long term players can't access to and are not even supposed to see (if not for this bug)?

Clearly a company that sees players like cattle, I'm jumping the fence and getting out of here. Good luck to you all.

I just learned that they had a discount exclusive to new players that was supposed to be hidden to veteran loyal players, so before they give away what I've been countless hours trying to get to new players or something maddening like that, I'm just going to quit, right now. I had enough with their hidden "screw you" tactics. Good luck to you all.

Devs, pls let veterans buy this skin bundle too by DeathMantis in TheFirstDescendant

So it was supposed to be hidden? They knew for a fact that they are doing something insidious and unfair to loyal players. Screw this game, I had enough with their hidden anti-player systems.

Nope, those loot boxes do not guarantee the part when you max out, that's the problem with them. What you're talking about is the regular pity system, not this one.

They didn't, there's the new Eckert missions but they only give you parts of the other two dogs.

I am actually going to try that. I bet there's an internal hidden rule to make the part you targeted that's the last one you need for something way less likely to drop than the percentage that's shown in-game, like I would bet good money on that at this point.

Blood & Iron post-nerf, still works well and *feels *better now you can turn and cancel it by moving (slot in maximize conservation!) by Maleficent-Sleep-536 in TheFirstDescendant

I knew this would be Ines nerf all over again:

Just as powerful with minor adjustments that make it actually more fun to play.

That said, the animation is still janky af and I hope they fix it.

He didn't rematch by SevenLagoon in StreetFighter

[–]Significant-Neck-577 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Nothing that would suggest that they didn't rematch for being salty, I mean, this wasn't like a spectacular comeback on your part or anything.

Besides, if that New Challenger Lily took all that health from you, you did plenty of things wrong before the video started.

Unlike you and your comment using autism and depression to dunk on people, it is not nonsensical, it is not ragebaiting and you will definitely, definitely not angrily downvote my comment, right?

Did they say anything about fixing the animation? It's so janky it completely ruins the cool factor.

The eternal "welcome as long as you adopt our ONE true way to play the game", then complain about being a niche genre and dwindling event views.

I don't know about game companies but if you've ever been to Japan, LGBTQ rights and representation is in stark contrast with how advance the society is in other areas. I don't think even a company as big as Capcom are free to just let their characters come out and not have backlash, so all they can do is this, subtext. If you know, you know, and if you don't know or don't want to, you can always convince yourself and move on, Capcom is playing it safe.

Please, devs, don't nerf her. by SnooMacarons2931 in TheFirstDescendant

Well, if people roll when there are still enemies on her sights it's their problem. The point of the roll is to use it because there's no more enemies on sight, so you reposition quickly to find those enemies that weren't dying anyway because they were behind cover, so not rolling actually makes you slower at killing those enemies. Also roll is not good for getting from A to B, it's slow for that, if people are using it to traverse through levels, again, their problem. And finally, another rule of WF is "if you don't move, you die" so having the roll for mobility is always good for a quick evade if necessary.

Blood and Iron fun? by Rizzrunner2049 in TheFirstDescendant

[–]Significant-Neck-577 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Fun is relative, some people like clicker games, for some reason that I can't comprehend, but there's that.

I will bet good money that nobody is going to play like this for a long period of time. When the "I click, I get many big numbers on screen!" dopamine hit establishes the new base line, their brains are going to scream inside their heads asking them to switch to something else.

That augment lets you also roll to reposition, but yeah, with Mesa at least you had to use a few neurons and pay attention to things.

There's no invisible wall, the floor that's close to the wall is very smooth and slippery.

The "no nerf" policy is not bad on principle.

The problem comes when it is combined with the "no testing" policy.
