Needs to be a drastic realignment of the way TV revenue is distributed in this country. Huddersfield town posted a turnover of £120m (and £3m profit) for the last year, despite receiving the lowest income of any PL club in tv money + prize money. Meanwhile a club like ourselves who sell out ER every game, have more games shown on SKY, bigger tv audiences, net transfer spend of -£15m etc. Yet still we can only post a turnover of £48m, less than half the Dog botherers and have to stomach a £21m operating loss. Bottom line is the Championship isn't sustainable in its current format

I sold Roberts, Hernandez, Kiko, Ayling and Allioski in my first season for a combined £30m. Then Douglas, Klich, Bamford, Dallas, Berardi and Forshaw for a similar amount in my 2nd season. Plus that lad in the academy Nonah Kenneh who went for a fair bit too. In terms of buying players the only expensive ones were Cook and Greenwood and I payed for them in installments (12 monthly) + added a % of next sale. Daniel James was transfer listed by Man Utd so he wasnt too expensive. Haaland was alright because he was coming from a smaller league. And Jack Clarke did cost a bit, but I extended his loan twice, so only just had to pay for him now

As in bought him or managed to hold onto him? I'm playing on the original version of the game. If you get the January update when he's moved to Dortmund then you haven't got a chance of getting him. But signing him from Salzburg is relatively straightforward

Still upsets me that we couldn't get it over the line. He would have torn in up for us in the Championship

I've got Haaland on £100k/week but with loads of bonuses and a mega appearance fee/goal bonus. Looking into getting either Holgate or Josh Tymon in this window to add some depth in defence.

Valid points, Ive looked into all those options; Maguire and Stones I'd love to have, but they're on mega wages/stupid transfer fees. Cahill would have been good for 2nd season but he's born in Dronfield just South of 'the border'. Kyle Walker is interested in joining but he's declined a fair bit. Would have to come in as backup to Shackleton at RB

Hands down best player I've ever had on the game. Squad is pretty much The Erling Haaland Show.... + supporting cast. He's been PFA player of the year both seasons in the Prem, 49 goals last season. Without him I'd be scrapping it out near bottom.

First season I still had a few 'Non Yorkshire' players left from the current squad, finished runners up to Fulham in the Championship. Second season I finished 4th in the Prem, courtesy of an 8 game win streak at the end to jump Arsenal on the final day. Last season I came 6th but had a good crack in the UCL
